So the mod will be called Naturecraft. It will feature more more plants and more animals. We are about to get started on the mod, and since everyone likes this idea(except for a few), I added a new poll. PS: Need someone for textures!! Also I want to take a couple animals out and put more plants in, so suggestions please!!
There would be:
PLANTS
Vines-hangs off trees in rainforest biome and you can climb them
Shrubs-decoration and attracts animals
Clovers-0.05 percent chance to get a four-leaf clover when you break it
More cacti(saguaro, Barrel, etc)-Just new cactus and can grow cactus fruit to eat
Poison Ivy-If touched, lifeform is damaged half a heart every 30 seconds for 2 minutes
Seaweed-???
Fern-Mostly aesthetics for now
Mangrove tree-Near or in rivers, long roots that stick out into or near the river
ANIMALS
Land:
Clams(land and sea)-can close and hurt the player/animal/mob over time(opens up after 4 seconds)(drops clam meat and a miniscule chance to get a pearl)
Monkeys-jumps from tree to tree and can throw banana peels if provoked(drops cocoa beans and bananas)
Tigers-kills anything(except creepers)on sight to protect the cubs(drops tiger claw tiger hide)
Tiger cubs-Runs away from player if he gets too close which then the tiger attacks you unless he's dead, can be tamed with 1-3 meat sticks, grows up after 3 minecraft days after tamed, you can ride him when he's an adult(drops tiger hide, tiger claw and hide when grown)
Camels-tamable and can be ridden(walks faster in desert biomes)(drops ?)
Hippos-lives in rivers and can be stepped on(drops ?)
Poison dart frogs-Attacks on sight/2hearts/poisons lifeforms, everytime a mob animal or the player is hit there is a 20% chance poison will be inflicted(poison for player does a heart of damage every 30 seconds for 3 minutes, stops after 6 minutes or after medicine is drank. Poison for mobs inflict half a heart of damage every 3 seconds for 18 seconds. Spawns in rainforests(drops poison vial)
Sea:
Stingray-can electrocute lifeforms/attacks on sight(drops nothing until we get an idea from someone)
Whales-Slow and friendly, does not attack when provoked, drops whale blubber, has 10 hearts

Shears-gets more wool from sheep/collects leaves to place elsewhere
Tiger Claw(makes tools/dropped by tigers)
New seeds and saplings for plants
Pearl armor
bananas-can be eaten for 1 and a half hearts
banana peel-crafted by 1 banana, throw-able, if hit by one you lose 1 heart(1 and a half on normal 2 on hard), if it hits the ground the banana peel can be slipped on. See status(slipped)
Pearls-used to make a pearl sword that is a little stronger than diamond swords and pearl dust
Tiger hide (used to make armor
cactus fruit-used to plant in sand to get a random cactus or cooked and eaten and used to make health potion
Clam meat-cooked can get you 2 hearts)
Four-leaf clover-Increases chance to get drops if its in the players inventory
Glass vial-used to make medicine and health potions
Health potions-heals 5 hearts
Pearl dust-used for potions and medicines
Medicine-Heals poison and ivy poison
Poison vial-A vial of poison
Poison arrows-crafted with an arrow and poison vial. If it hits another lifeform, the lifeform is poisoned, when crafted the player receives the glass vial
Whale blubber-Eaten gives 1 heart, cooked gives 4, used to make lanterns
Meat stick-Attracts predators and tames tiger cubs
Lantern-A light source that can be put on the ceiling
New Biomes and landmarks
Rainforest-Higher chance for rain and lightning/monkeys rivers and tigers spawn there(soundtrack=toucans and birds)
Rivers-Running water that leads through rainforests/hippos spawn here
STATUSES

Also: Please make it so you don't have to delete the MCTMP file to dl it. It screws up mah other mods and I rather got used to being a god with an iron fist (:Notch:)
So I'm chilling out in my house, it becomes night, so I decide to go to sleep. I'm rudely awakened by a zombie, so I modify the blocks around my bed (knowing that a bed bordering a block can cause monsters to spawn).
So now, my bed is not touching a single other block, and, convinced I'm not going to be woken up, I go to sleep. Yet again, I'm awoken by a skeleton. Confused, I come here. :smile.gif:

Direct hit does 2.5 damage. I know, and I also know not to set my weather mod's lightning strike to a letter now. (Was P, but when I typed Partying Platypuses onto a sign... Well, yeah.)
I think this'd be a neat server :biggrin.gif: I made a DJ Scully skin (from Killing Floor) that works pretty well as a traveler. I can also use a mod that lets me run pretty fast. I can work as a courier (been there done that ;D )
