Give the game more memory by increasing the -Xmx JVM arguement in the launcher settings. Currently you have allocated 1gb which is definately not enough.
Whatever it is you are trying to insert into the world is breaking it. I cant help you more than this because i dont know anything about the edited map you are trying to implement into your world.
Some want interesting changes/updates. They want MC to change.
Some want it to stay the same cause "Notch's MC was the best" or "Don't mess with my MC!" (like it was ever "yours"). So all the Mojang employees should just go home and stop with the updates/changes? MC is a finished game and doesn't need anything else, cause it's the Perfect Game?
You can't have it both ways.
Poor Mojang. Darned if they do, darned if they don't.
No matter what they do they will never please everyone. Ever.
To anyone fearing that they will shut down java edition.. Just.. Stop.. They are not that stupid to screw over ~27m buyers. That is just suicide regardless of how you look at it. Development can be discontinued.. And at one point probably will, its just how games work. But seeing the community Minecraft has.. I dont think that even a cease of development would stop people from making amazing modifications with features the base game never had.
I tried out the pre-release 6 for a bit today. Am i the only one with the sensation that they are taking certain mechanic's and ideas that already exist within certain mods and just implementing it with a different look?
Not saying this as it was a bad thing. Im just stating my observations so far lol.
Well if Microsoft started working on it the modding community would grow.
That depends. Either way, PC already has Forge which is quite a powerful API and i think Mojang realizes that hence why they aren't doing anything in that regard. Atleast noting official. Basically, if it ain't broken don't fix it.
Its been a while since we've heard any news on it. I have a feeling that Microsoft killed it so that they can push Minecraft:PE to be the dominant version of Minecraft.
From the videos i've seen and the pictures, the new blocks could make for some very nice decorations. I'll dig into it personally when i have more free time.

Probably NBT/World corruption. Post the full-client-latest.log

What are your PC Specs? Also logs would be useful as they could possibly indicate to what's going on.

If you can't access your account your best bet is to contact Mojang directly cause nobody here can help you with that.

Corrupted world. Whatever you pasted/changed in there broke it. Restore to a backup if you have one.

Check your launcher settings and make sure that it has the correct java path.

Looks like a problem with CustomNPC's. Try disabling it and see what happens.

PE already is dominant as far as the sales go.
