Your door almost looks like it has tiles on it. I like it, but it's really different from your other wood styles, I feel.
@Tek
I can't quite figure out the lighting on the rough diorite. You've got several chunks with the highlight nearest the top, but then the big behemoth of a chunk with the top as a shadow, and a highlight from below?
Also it looks really nice, but I think some vanilla random ctm style stuff could help with the simpler things like stone. Something like a cliff might be too bland, and if not that then adding 1 or 2 pattern variations would even be nice.
I love the pack, from the screenshots anyways, but I think you should think about doing random CTM. Things like your dirt could benefit from it, because it looks great, but, as Angelo said, it's a bit repetitive.
Well, I made an Enderman. Hopefully by the end of the contest I can have some mob lore written up, but for now, something about an old race that yearned for knowledge, and used said knowledge to further their power and abilities, being cursed to the end and blighted with blindness, to be forever watched by the Ender Dragon, skin and flesh turning stonen and tough, and gems/crystals forming in the cracks and crevices of their spines.
Sort of spitballed that throughout the creation. Not necessary, I suppose, but I should probably say something before showing an eyeless, glowing-spined enderman.
Well, I've managed to get back into my pack. I'm still porting it over to vanilla models, so I guess I'm slower than Mojang at this point. Since my last update, I've recoloured wooden planks (again); got stone bricks, mossy stone bricks, cobblestone, mossy cobblestone, grass and now grass paths into vanilla random variation; made a wooden dagger, complete with stabbing!
I've probably more work to do with my planks, as well. Diagonal planks don't work well on all sides, so I may change the sides, or top and bottom. I'm just not sure which to change. I also feel my contrast is a bit 'over-the-place' currently, so I may rework some textures to include more contrast. (I'm looking at you, mossy cobblestone!)
Also, while mossy stone brick is randomized, the texture is an old one. I'm going with a more mossy cobble look once I care to make 5 textures for it.
So, I guess expect to see some more of my pack, again. Hopefully.
Love it! The cobble kinda reminds me of DustyCraft. Looks great!
That's immediately what I thought. But it's better than DustyCraft. It's like... DustyCraft v2. Oh wait that was a thing.
Real talk though that pack looks amazing, Meaps.
I have to ask, what with everyone coming back all of a sudden, would anyone be interested in a challenge? They've been pretty dead lately, but maybe the elder members would be interested? I have to ask because it seems like most of y'all are busy on your old packs or experimenting.

Spooky Scary Skeletons!
5 colours
Somewhat anatomically correct!
Hopefully someday I can get into random mobs, I'd love to show different causes of death in zombies and skeletons.

Seeing as I just started a survival world today partially to get myself back into texturing, sounds perfect! Count me in, probably!

Then clearly you haven't seen my cobblestone.
Man, I need to work on my pack again.
Get it released already..
3 years into development...

@#4
Think you'll stay around after exams, Forrest?
@AmazingMCza
I'm aware, but participation was still low. Heck, it ended with only 2 pages. Challenges used to get up into the 20s,30s, and 40s back in the day.

Also, what brings everyone back?

Don't worry #4, you're still better than I am.
