Also, is better grass now compatible with wildgrass, or are you still using that "hotfix"?
The hotfix is for bettergrass w/ modloader, bettergrass does NOT work with Wildgrass at all because aside from the modloader class files, they both also modify the vanilla grass class file.
Ah, my mistake. I was thinking the "fancy" setting with the side grass was better grass. XD
Well, in that case, it seems only possible if they decide to combine the two mods.
I hate mediafire download speeds :sad.gif:
My website was so much faster ;P
Anyway, instead of mediafire pro you should (or should have?) just paid for an entire website. http://www.midphase.com/website-hosting/
$3 a month for a basic website. :tongue.gif:
$8 for ultimate package.
(that's a different host than mine, and it shouldn't have the same download issue)
(they are legit though, still extremely fast downloads, and I've seen great reviews for them)
Also, you need to either make your own font or start adding Misa's font in it by default.
Annoying to have to add it in manually, and I see no issue since you are already using other things from her pack as placeholders. :tongue.gif:
Also, screenshot time.
LifeCraft

Interesting, I'll look into that. Thanks for the tip.
I'll message Misa. Last I knew, the font was a pain in the ass and didn't work for many people. Did the new patcher remedy this issue? I really don't feel like having a thread filled with such issues. =p
Also, is better grass now compatible with wildgrass, or are you still using that "hotfix"?

This texture pack is awesome . I have been using it since 2.9.6 and i love it. I just dont like the new texture of glass and glowstone (4.4.6), i hope you are gonna change them again in the next update.
You do a great job, i can't wait until the next update :biggrin.gif:
I'll continue to mess around with some textures so hopefully I find one you like. ^^
Thanks, I'm glad you're a dedicated fan. 2.9.6 seems so long ago.
hmm i tried it but it doesnt seem to work, yeah i have a 64bit 3gb ram and AMD Athlon Dual-core 2.10GHz
just noticed i have 32bit java, could this be the cause?
It's very likely. Try installing 64bit Java and comment back if you're still having troubles. =)

HEY! this is an amazing pack and i dont know if this thread is still goin really but I have a problem trying to get the wildgrass mod into my game :sad.gif: the problem is when I download the files and open them (or save them to desktop) with winRAR there are no .class files to be found just folders and .PNG files :ohmy.gif: so what am I doing wrong.... cause im lookin for class files to paste into the .minecraft jar thingy. PLZ HELP!
You'll have to download the actual mod for the wildgrass. I'm simply posting the texture files for the mod because posting a mod I didn't work on is kind of frowned upon. XD

I Played around with it a while longer after I posted and it seems to be working now. However I didn't download your wildgrass? I'm not sure but what I did differently was re-download the Bin folder to start from scratch and use the "modloader_terrain" folder instead of the "modloader" folder. Cheers for the reply :biggrin.gif:
I download the highest HD adn now it wont let me on minecraft anymore. Thanks.
"Thanks."
I love it when idiots **** **** up and then say thanks like it's our fault.
Haha, very well said, Phantom. XD

I'm also assuming I probably won't hear much from you in a while. =(
Edit:
How did you like your biome?

hey, i tried to get this to work in test mode but it wont work. i got this from the log in the patcher
-error-
Please help? xD thanks
Try this vid. It's teaches how to allocate your java heap size just like the patcher does. Just change the numbers around depending on how much memory you want to allocate.
General rule that I do is make the integers for memory allocated divisible by 256. I know it's not the technical way to do it, but it's just simple for me.
I'm also confused as to the "mixed mode" it's saying in your crash report. Do you have a 64bit computer?
Well I don't even know where to start with it. I'll give full details.
Windows 7 32 bit
3.6Ghz Core 2 duo
ATI HD4850 gfx
4 Gb DDR2 ram
Minecraft 1.5_01
umm... I can't think of anything else that could come into it.
Thanks to anyone who can help.
Follow this video and ignore the Runescape part. I'd suggest doing more than he does ranging from about 768-2048 area for you.
Great texture pack...but it only works when I'm 'testing' in MCpatcher, not when I open the game and log in.
Is there a solution to this?
Look up some videos of Java allocation of memory. That should do the trick.
Another thing, if you have a 64bit OS, make sure you're running off 64bit Java.

Oh....my god.....this is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. 256x is just plain awesome.
Thank you for this awesome pack.
You're quite welcome. =)

This will probably make me look like a massive derp but I cant get wild grass to work with the texture pack models it just shows the default, ive gone over the instructions a few times but I cant figure it out :/.
I'm assuming you're trying to use the modloader version and I still haven't updated my main post to accompany it.
Ok, you have to download my "wildgrass" download and it should contain some folders with different resolutions depending on which you need. After selecting, open it and copy the "wildgrass" folder into the minecraft.jar so it will overwrite the default ones.
Did you see the pics I uploaded on the previous page? It's ready. XD
Edit:
Anyone think a new update tomorrow is a good time? It seems a bit early, but I haven't released anything new for a week so I think I might. ^^
Changelog so far (off the top of my head):
-New glowstone texture
-New iron/gold textures
-New glass texture
-Many alternative biomes.
-Fixed a few items in the items.png to be uniform with the new stone
-New iron armor texture (Took a huge amount of effort on this one)
-Modified the fire texture to a slower version
Great texture pack =D even better with the wildgrass collection. is it possible to add some more plant textures for the wildgrass? I find some of them to be repetitive.
Unfortunately, I'm limited to that amount of textures for the wildgrass. =(
I can make a few different textures as alternatives to change things up from time to time.

Amazing pack! Thanks for all the hard work, man. Here's a screenshot I got with the seed 10110101:
I love that seed, and a very nice picture. ^^

I cannot use RapidShare because it wakes to stinkin' long! Zippy at least goes fast
@Scuttles, Well, at least your working on it, right? Seen some packs that never progress beyond the first textures.
I'm working hard to try and make this as complete as possible. It's a difficult road with this many pixels, however.
when i run the grass mod it uses the standard texture for the wild grass while the rest of the texture pack runs fine. Is there something i have missed because i love the look of the wild grass in the screenshots.
Have you downloaded the "wildgrass" link? You have to replace the images of the wildgrass mod with those ones and it should work fine. I'm assuming you're using the modloader version of wildgrass. Wild grass isn't fully supported with the new MCPatcher's better grass so also make sure you patch it WITHOUT better grass enabled.
Nigs. Where my biome. XD
You can put that in the pack if you want, Summer autumn.
It's finished. It's actually one of my favorite biomes. Very light and vibrant with the mix of Autumn colors. Excellent choice. =D

for me, the Glass Biomes of GlassCraft!
Does the glass biome affect the biome overlay like grass?

hello i'm still having problems when i try to run your 256 pack i patched minecraft up to a java space of 4000 mb and it still doesnt work
I'm using a 32 bit winxp computer
do you have any ideas why it might not run
sincerely

As Phantom had said, it's not possible to allocate 4GB of memory to a 32bit system. That could be your issue there.
Also, could you post some additional specs such as your RAM.

Hey, I can seem to get it from the download mirrors. The link just times out. Any advice?
I'd suggest to try it again. I just checked all 4 links and they all worked. I'm going to upgrade my Mediafire link soon. I just hate using my credit card online. =S

4GB+ REQUIRES a 64bit OS or else you're wasting memory. =/

What's happening when you click the link?

I shall do that. XD
I'm not a big fan of glass to the point of having a biome dedicated to it, but certainly is a unique concept.
@Pazaz
Here's a hint of your biome:
Summer/Autumn mix = Pazaz's Biome
