Oooooh! Look at all the overpowered things! Not to mention how Blindingly hard it is to code dragons in a way that looks good and doesn't have the dragon clipping through blocks all the time.

posted a message on Your Opinion : Future Updates Having to Cost Money?
    Quote from Winter_Mage

The updates have been free all this time, yet the devs have still put a lot of effort into each one let alone make an update. What is your opinion on Mojang having to have a one time fee to buy an update instead of it being free?

Please tell me that you do not want this....

They need to fix the memory leaking, it exists in EVERY SINGLE VERSION.

That's a FTB thing isn't it? I've never seen memory leaking in vanilla.

And I love how people complain about complainers that say a new feature doesn't affect gameplay or mechanics and say they should fix an existing feature so it's actually useful.

All I'm saying is I'd much rather have a compass that actually works instead of sunflowers.
    Wouldn't you?

Here is what you did: "Oh look, a cool new flower that always points easy? OMG MOJANG WHY YOU ADD THIS?!!? FIX THE COMPASS!!!111!!!11"

Just relax, the sunflower doesn't hurt anyone. You can still use f3 to find out which direction you are facing.

I hate that they face *only* east. That pretty much kills any possibility of putting them in a garden, unless you make sure that your gardens always face east.

Seriously? If you fence in an area and put sunflowers in it, it isn't going to matter which way the flowers point.
    Quote from Geneo

Sunflowers? That only point East? Are you kidding me?

Why not fix the compass so it actually points north like a real compass, or at least points to the 'new' spawn point (the last place you slept)? As it is, the compass is still next to useless.

I love how you people see a new feature that doesn't affect gameplay or mechanics at all, and yet you still cry about it and complain.

That was through sheer luck of the random generation however, it wasn't coded to be like that.

Uh, the random generation was coded so that there would be things like that. Pretty much every extreme hills biome has a mountain with a sheer cliff, all I'm saying is that the cliff biome should be like that instead of just a steep hill.

I think this is as close as you can get using random generation, might be wrong though. Either way I like these cliffs.

You can do whatever you want with random generation, there aren't any limits. Besides, I have seen straight drop off cliffs in an extreme hills biome before, so it definitely is possible.

@everyone who said not all cliffs look like that

Go google cliff and look at the images, 95% of the images there will be of a sheer, vertical rock face, not just a steep rock face like in Jebs spoiler picture.

EDIT: I also realized that my picture wasn't the best example, changed.

I noticed that Jebs new snapshot spoiler is of a cliff made of stone.

Now this looks a lot like a normal extreme hills biome but with stone.

The cliffs he wants to add aren't really cliffs, they're just steep hills. And frankly I don't think steep stone hills look good. REAL cliffs look like this:

I know this could change, but I'm just pointing out that the last picture would be a better way to go if you want to add cliffs.

    Who agrees?

posted a message on Regional Fishing, different fish for different biomes. (UPDATED POLL!!!)
Kinda cool, I like how it encourages exploration and adds more depth to the food system. With this there is would actually be a reason to go seek out a specific biome and collect its fish for better food. I didn't really take a look at the values though, so it might need some balancing.
