I am happy to see others are realizing, how things are in this thread about. As to pulling back, the damage is great to say, repairing will not be easy by any means. Even pastmaster has not given brady, or anyone the thread "OP post to say" as promised. We cannot make polls, OP edit, nothing, thus no art contests or of that nature. No OP edits for news, updates, or interesting things.

Artists in this thread, have died out to say. I noticed many still do about to say. It was the art that made the previous and original thread what they were. As well the normal discussions on art, the show, and episodes. Music and fanfics where very rarely spoken of. Not trying to kill them, but the past is what the future should be to be successful.

Reforging is difficult now, but not impossible. Bring the old to the new, start over with old and do the same before.

Time to create old with new. Now is that time to say. As to how to start, that is not up to me. As well we still need access to the OP for making polls and edits to the OP.

A chocolate moose, which might hint that cervids are in fact canon? Doughnut Joe's spy tech in Pinkie's story? Ninjas? Katanas? A couple months ago, the thread would be buzzing over all this stuff. But now, the discussion of the new episodes fizzles out in a matter of hours, and it's back to spamminess and chatter.

Now, let's see here... Who from the old thread barely posts here anymore, or has never come back at all? Myself, tired of the lack of anything engaging going on. Sarolveldruk, another guy who really enjoyed participating in debates and having actual discussions. King Coco, tired of having his art posts ignored (I know that feel), faloxx, who completely gave up hope that this thread was worth saving and isn't planning to come back ever.
I KNOW I missed a few people. I just know it.

So we all just left.

But unlike those people who just showed up to say "this thread sucks", I have provided some of the reasons why. And if anyone is interested in saving this thread, it would be a good idea to think about some of the points I have made here, and try to get this thread back on track. And I'm willing to help, otherwise I wouldn't have posted at all.
The season is coming to a close. Try to make the best of the last couple episodes, and pray that this thread survives the time until Season 3.

Got some lineart done for a new drawing. I was gonna work on Drizzt, but decided to do this first, when I got the inspiration. It's a bit rougher than other linearts I post, and the scan is uneven because it takes up my whole sketchbook page, and the way my sketchbook is shaped, it lets in a bit of light. This is looking very well done. I have a question for your next drawing concerning Drizzt: From previous examples of ponified drow, I see it is rather easy to add pointed ears and the hair colored accordingly. However, Drizzt almost constantly wears a set of armor that changes throughout his travels. Seeing as it is a significant part of his identity, what particular style of armor do you plan to ponify as well?

Where are these "loads fo creative people" of which you speak? Aside from the really nice work from Heywood, Nittles and Impwarior (as well as a few others that appear from time to time, those 3 are just the most active now) it seems like the majority of the creative, interesting people have left. I'll elaborate on this later in my post.

Laptop CPUs can run much hotter to say, however still not safe really. But they can tolerate heat better. Also many people never check nor care to check if their HSF for their laptop is exhausting good out the vents. I have seen laptops before that even at highest fan settings, if barely any exhaust is to be felt... Why I clean my laptops heat sink every so often, at most 3 months usage. Has been going strong for many years, and under brutal use to say "though I do not use it anymore".

I know the i5-2500k is tolorant on heat, learned that the hard way. It throttles down well and safeguards itself best it can. Reason, stock HSF before I got a 3rd party one did not install correct, yet all pins snapped in place, it still did not sit flush and thus the processor kept reaching its TJmax. It was like this for up to I say 1 hour.

Now it has a Hyper 101 on it, which is fine to say, and OCed to 4Ghz and idles at 25s to 30s, and no higher then 60s on load. No voltage increase needed.

Ok, to get down to this zone.

Laptop CPUs can normally handle up to 92C "no higher then 80C for safe" IIRC, while desktop CPUs SHOULD NOT go near or above 72C for safe zone. This is not entirely true, as it varies CPU to CPU, ark to ark, and no CPU is equal even if same brand, type, model, stepping.

Smaller the fab process, the less heat it can tolorate to say.
