So, you've heard of "The beacon" right?

Its A block that gives you buffs when close. Good right?

Wrong.

You can make potions from the brewing stand. Which is made from blaze rods, the wither is REALLY hard. which renders the beacon as a sign that says "ROB ME!".

"So how do we fix this quite perplexing pickle?"

With beams.

The basic idea is that when at low health (3-4) there is a 50-50 chance the beacon will use its ability known as "beacon energy"

The beacon energy ability will make energy particles form around you, then a beam (depending on the color, that color will be the beams color) that will create an non-block damaging blast that will deal no damage, but knock everything back and give them weakness(10 secs) and blindness(1 sec)

Then the player will be given the buffs he chose for 50 seconds.

This will make fighting the wither more rewarding, as potions are better than are current beacon that we have now. And beacons will be more than decorations.

When I first played minecraft I did not believe creepers explode.

The first few times A creeper came out of the blue and did what he did best.

Now my reaction is just "Oh you have GOT to be kidding me"

Yeah.

One time I was playing hexxit, and I heard this HUGE explosion.

Turns out it was a meteor.

A: have some sort of alien blaster gun

B:have a sword of you're choice

C:Have a mass of grey goo that transforms into any tool/weapon (any type of weapon from fiction included)

All bosses need some sort of death animation.

This could be any experience, really.

Well, my base is a mushroom expanded with natural things.

(Clay,Dirt,Hay,Wood,The Mushroom Itself).

Not exactly you're cup of tea, but its a start.
