    people who constantly say, "oh this is my first map btw" or "this is only the second time i've tryed mapmaking" are by FAR the cancer to all map makers, don't do it.

    not only will people not want to play your maps but you'll be treated like a amiture, not to mention, no ones gonna go easy on you cause its your first map, ay least i wont, even if its your first, it should be quality

    For Minecraft 1.5.2

    After toiling on my computer for hours on end...

    and generally being an idiot in MCedit...

    I decided i should make a minecraft forum post about my up-coming map series, so here we go!






    First off, for those of you who don't know CTM stands for

    Complete The Monument

    I follow traditional CTM rules, NO SHENANIGANS

    1) Find and complete the Victory Monument.
    2) Find wool in chests (Fleecy Boxes) or on special boss enemies (Fleecy Mobs) scattered around the map, do NOT use dyes or spider string for wools!
    3) You may craft the Iron, Gold, and Diamond blocks.
    4) Use at least Easy difficulty, and never Peaceful. (I balance around Normal.)
    5) Do not leave the boundaries of the map and go into normally generated Minecraft terrain.
    6) Survive in any way you can think of. (Yes, you can mine, craft, and place blocks.)
    7) You may use spider string wool and sheep wool to craft beds and other items, but not for the Victory Monument.
    8) You may not pick up, craft, or move Ender Chests.

    This is a map style began with vechs, and i gotta give him kudos for inspiring me beyond belief, vechs if you're reading this,
    I hate you, die in a fire.


    Anyways

    So This map is nowhere near close to complete, but I made this forum post just to get it out there and test the waters, i would like to have a little bit of feedback on how many of you would actually be willing to play this, as I am trying to make it as original as I possibly can.

    But lets be honest,

    After taking a nice look at the CTM maps currently made and playing most of them, I have to say,

    I dont think there is anything that hasn't been done yet

    Alas,

    I'm trying, also i dont know how to set up polls on this forum, but if i did i would, for now however please just leave any feedback in the description

Users are also free to include advertisements and monetize their videos of my maps. Watching people play my maps is by far the best way for me to learn how to make better maps.     THESE MAPS ARE PROVIDED 'AS IS' WITH NO WARRANTIES, IMPLIED OR OTHERWISE. THE OWNER OF THESE MAPS TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES INCURRED FROM THE USE OF THESE MAPS. ALL DAMAGES CAUSED FROM THE USE OR MISUSE OF THESE MAPS FALL ON THE USER.

    Use of these MAPS to be installed, manually or automatically, is given to the USER without restriction.

    alright ctm'ers im back again, and im still stuck bashing my head against a wall

    i really want to make this area, mostly cause i have some ideas and I really want to make this as a challenge to test my limits but I just have to get started with a good concept, now i want your honest opinions on this (please don't sugar coat it) do you think i can pull this off? or should i just scrap it and try something else

    heres what i produced after about a bloody freakin hour



    (its worth noting im much more pleased with this than the glowstone)
