I agree with most people, the tiling could be better.
Also, I have discovered that little "one-spot" details, such as the spot on the wood, look TERRIBLE in texture packs.
Fix those though, and it would look quite nice.
To be completely honest, I don't know what topic this would go in. I personally think that you shouldn't worry about it. If he's gonna ruin it for himself, let him. Nobody makes "legit" diamond castles unless they used commands, cheats, or hacks anyway. I personally think using diamond blocks in building is kinda ugly. Good for storing diamonds but it ugly as a material in buildings. As long as he's not cheating on multiplayer, I don't think you should really worry about it. If he wants to ruin it for himself then let him. Don't let it get to you.

Sorry if this is in the wromg section, but my friend found a dupeing glitch on YouTube, and he refuses to stop using it. I keep telling him that it will ruin the game, but he won't listen. I find it very annoying when he keeps bragging about his "legit" diamond castle. What should I do?
The terrain generator. Everythings flat. Old mountains had a varriance from sea level to skybox. New ones have a much larger variance, always putting watter in every valley and flat spot. Building in mountains is almost impossible
I agree. However, I found a spot where the mountains look close to the old ones. Enter the seed "FiShCaKeS!" (without "s of course) and explore around x:561, y:69, z:62

This is not entirely true. the world no longer glitches at 12 million blocks, but instead simply ends at 32 million blocks. (I think)

=CE=HS says he's really close to a playable version with only the Alpha 1.1.2 generator. It may be anywhere from weeks to a couple of months before this thing is out. :/

I enjoyed all of it, and I will buy every expansion that is released the second it comes out! (Yup, beta buyer, wish I'd seen alpha. Thank goodness for MCNostalgia!)
