Jul 9, 2013Savage_Alien posted a message on John Smith: Legacy [JSTR - Mod support (FTB, Tekkit, AT .etc.)][Community GitHub Project]Noticed that using the FTB Launcher version, the MineFactory Reloaded bricks [glowstone, ice, lapis, obsidian, slab, and snow] were missing soI took the liberty of making some textures [recolour edits from existing] for myself and friends and to share.Posted in: Resource Packs
I'm especially happy with the ice and snow.
the lapis is a mediocre edit as I didn't want to copy the current lapis block completely, so this is a lighter/brighter version. There are minor tiling issues along the side seams, however the original texture was not my own, these are merely recolours to suit the needs of the mod.

This was tested with Ultimate 1.4.7

Random custom animations for blocks don't appear to work for me with AA set on (2 or greater).
Non-random animations do work (ex custom_terrain_166.png animates the enchantment table no problem)
1.3.1 with AA ON they will work.
1.3.2 with AA ON, they DO NOT work.
ex. diamond1.png and diamond2.png
Here's the properties file of diamond1.png:

No other mods were on during these tests.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Great tool/mod, keep up the amazing work!

I cant take a pic, or else it will go into pause mode.
You're using F10 with FRAPS right? Why don't you just... unpause it after? It still takes a screenshot, only I think you just get a double screenshot...
EDIT: That's just... an egg. lol.

Aug 9, 2010Savage_Alien posted a message on -INFDEV- The Stuttering (aka, the Void) and How to Avoid ItMy friend and I both get this bug. It's really annoying. I've had to relocate my railway a couple times because the tracks ran through an area that was prone to Stuttery, sticky spots. I even have a couple perma-void tunnels.Posted in: Alpha - Survival Single Player
As a point of comparison, my map is 52MB and my friend's is small at around 3MB.
I'm on a Q6600 quad core @ 3.0Ghz with 4GB of RAM and a Nvidia GTX 260
My friend's machine is an i5 2.6Ghz with 4GB of RAM and a Nvidia GTX 260
Both of our Minecraft desktop clients run at around 800-1,000 MB of memory.

Aug 1, 2009Posted in: DiscussionQuote from Dayman »does teleport work for non-OPs too?
It's just a collection of scripts that automate actions you would normally do manually... such as typing out a teleport command.
I would have loved for this to be compatible with Linux and MAc users... if anyone knows a way to do this for those platforms, let me know.
Aug 1, 2009Oh, geeze, thanks for reminding me!Posted in: Discussion
I'm sorry, this tool, requires Windows as it was written using Autohotkey. It was the easiest language I could learn for the tasks that I needed it to do.
It's my first time making something like this :ohmy.gif:

[ DOWNLOAD ] (Windows only, sorry)
Here's a tool that I've been putting together for a month or more.. Started out as a simple text file with few lines of code to help me teleport to users on our server, it's now several hundred lines with a handy settings window and colour guide, but anything worth doing is worth overdoing.
WHAT IT DOES:
1) Personal Inventory*: (WINKEY+Q) create a personal inventory that can be loaded whenever you'd like
2) Indestructible Toggle: (SHIFT+CAPSLOCK) toggles the indestructible /solid command on/off
3) Teleport Hotkeys**: (CTRL+1 to 6) Easily teleport to 6 predefined users.
* - The Personal Inventory will ONLY WORK [as intended] with the DEFAULT game window size. Sorry to anyone who uses an enlarging script... It's still a feature I'd like to add..
** - Teleports rely on T as the chat key and inventory set to its default key B
- Modify personal inventory hotkey to a more "universal" hotkey.... for those without a windows key... suggestions????
- Allow for use on enlarged game windows ... I may call on your help should this be a popular request..
Now, I hope everything is in order... but if you find a bug or have a suggestion, feel free to post it in this thread.
