I am here posting again for my dear son who just recently discovered Minecraft (some delightful forum members helped me out several days ago to which I still owe tons of gratitude).
Well, I allowed him to load the full version on my work computer, a PC that run Windows XP. He has his own account so as to not mess with my client files (fully locked, Norton protected, etc.). He wants to download a mod known as Nuke TNT. I am uncertain if this is the correct spelling, but this is what he told me. My husband tried to help him, but the site he went to got flagged by Norton. Is there a site where we can safely get him this particular mod?
As always, thank you for your kindness in walking us through this process. This has been quite the learning experience for us "oldtimers." Hey...we grew up in the Pong era. Any of you remember that game?
I just showed my son and he said, "Thanks Mom. You're the best." I have to quickly share this...this is coming from a kid who we were told was never going to talk (he's on the autism spectrum).

I apologize, but I really do not understand any jargon of the game. So, such things as spawn point and reset are foreign to me. I would have to get my son here to read this, as I do not allow him on these forums yet. A few people suggested posting my files. So far, I have transferred them from his iPad to the computer. I just wanted to make they were in the correct format. They showed up as .dat files.
I am quite the novice at this, so my posts are going to look amateur. My son did some building that he does not want to lose. Thank you again for your patience with me.
Thanks so much, but I wouldn't have the faintest idea of how to post his world. My husband is at work, and he's much more patient than I am with computers/computer software. I'm just trying to prevent tears. If this difficult to do? Sorry but you're dealing with a 40-something mom here.
I apologize, I am so stupid about this. Can you define black fogged? If you mean that he's blinded by it and can't see anything around him, yes. I am relaying answers to him (he's not quite allowed on forums yet). He wanted to know:
1) How long would he have to fly up...many seconds or minutes?
2) Would his exact same world appear?

When playing the game this morning, while in creative mode, he started flying towards the edge of the game (he terms it the wall). He went over the edge of the game, turned, and got lost because he lost his bearings (he said the landscape looked foggy). Now he is stuck somewhere in no man's land and cannot get back to any place that looks familiar to him.
Can anyone help him or me? I apologize, but neither me nor my husband play the game, and his friends are still into Club Penguin. :-)
