I got on earlier, disconnected, then tried to get back on and it said it was full. Probably a server issue, there was a mini update I downloaded today, so maybe it's that...

Guess it's time to pull out my guitar and work on learning a new song... or sleep... decisions decisions...

    Nice work Kill.

On an unrelated note, is the server down for anyone else? Or is it my router giving me a headache again?

is the server down for everyone again? :SSSS:

Yup. It's been going up and down more than a.... well, I could make a dozen bad jokes there that would get a timeout on the forum...

Point being, it's probably going to keep fluctuating until the coding issue gets sorted out. It will be back, it just might take some time.

The server appears to be having issues right now. Perhaps someone can elaborate on what I know.

    WHAT I KNOW
Elme reset the server earlier this evening.
Elme said he was going somewhere(?) after he reset it.

    What I THINK
The server was experiencing lag issues all week since the update. Elme tinkered and fixed things and reset it, but the server went down. Elme is a good guy from what I can tell, as well as an excellent host. It will be back up as soon as he can get on it. In the mean time, grab a good book, watch some TV, or otherwise entertain yourselves, and feel comfortable in the knowledge that while you wait for the server to come back up, I will be doing math homework :sad.gif:

And now its down again. same with teamspeak.
So i bet elme has some internett problems atm. :S

    Yea i wonder why......

Next time don't ban someone while they where building something that took 3 hours to make.

I guess we learned not to ban a butthurt script kiddie.

The new map is cool, lost some stuff but we're rebuilding. I may be inclined to post pics of our latest project once it's recognizable as construction.

On a world I want to "rough it" on, make a panic room (close myself in so none of the baddies can get at me)

On a world where I just want to build cool things, pick up a single block of the nearest resource, use NBT Edit to turn it into 64 diamond blocks, and make diamond tools, then build away.

posted a message on Chunk Errors - Ruining your things.
It looks like it only nommed on chunks you changed in some way... which makes it all the more crappy, but it might help someone find exactly what went wrong (perhaps a bit of code devoted to saving the blocks you've placed went haywire) For what it's worth, I feel bad for you bro. All that work down the tubes.

Still no luck. I can see in the command prompt window that his IP connects, but then the server auto boots him and says "You need to Log In". Sounds like an easy problem to fix, except for the fact that he is already logged in. I talked in IRC and Vede suggested (thanks again, you were a big help) that I put &override or something to that effect (I ctrl+C'd it) in the external URL, which cleared up another problem, but left this one.

    Any ideas?

Been working on it a bit. Now I can see on my server that his IP is connecting, but then he gets auto booted for not being logged in. I'm gonna read up on the forums to see how to fix this, I'll keep you guys posted.

    Thanks for the help!

I fiddled with the port forwarding, and now it gives the message "You need to Log In" despite my brother in the other room being logged in on his account. Thoughts?

I think I might have found the root of my problem: Where I am forwarding the ports to. I am running my computer on my family network. Our main computer is set up with the router, while the other computers are running off Wi-Fi connections to the router. I can directly access the router, but when given options on where to forward the ports to, I am given a choice of my computer, the main computer, and the two other computers in our network. Where should I forward the ports to?

Hello, I have been playing this game for a little while now, and I wanted to host a server for myself, my brother, and a few friends.

I followed the tutorial in Skype's post here, and have got Simple Port Forwarding and Portchecker on my computer and set up. I have followed the instructions to the letter, and I am happily able to connect to my own server. However, nobody else is able to. They are given a very generic error message "Unable to Connect - Server is Probably Down"

I was just wondering if anyone might be able to help.

    Thanks in advance.
