    Perfect! That made my day...

    Also, I haven't really looked to see what kind of config file the mod creates, but is/will there be a way to lock in some of the settings each box has? For instance, if I wanted to grey-out the height property of a certain box, and set its height permanently to max, is that possible? I'm thinking that that extra control might work well for an Admin in the event we allow the players to use it.

    This really is cool and was exactly what I was looking for. Matter of fact, I immediately installed, tested, and works perfectly. However, because there is no way that I can walk my players through installing this manually and supporting the install (due to not being able to distribute it), I wont be playing with this enabled via SMP.

    But, great mod, keep up the great work.... really ingenious idea!

    I guess what I actually meant, was that I would like a mod that will apply effects to certain blocks that I specify... without doing anything else but placing the block down. So all those effects I mentioned above, would have that affect when I place it without any other functional block like a command block attached to it, or a lever, redstone, etc. For instance, I can apply the Beacon effect on a diamond block. When I place any diamond block down, it will display the effect.

    I'm looking for some mod that will add effects to certain blocks. Effects such as a light beacon, blindness, blurred vision, particle effects, portal effect, colored horizontal light beams (like the Laser Mod on the mod section), and any other effects anyone can think of whether its natively built into Minecraft or not.

    I'm not looking for the blocks to have any extra functions other than just simply adding effects to certain blocks. If there is already a mod out there, please reply.

    I can donate towards any programming efforts put into this.

    Do you just play it solo, or with others? I normally play it with my son and a few of his friends, so maybe in that sense it makes it a bit easier (minutely) than how others play it. Im drawn to it just by the fact that its so difficult.

    So what exactly is it that a Mod creator / owner will not approve their mods from being inserted into a "ModPack"? They are typically ok with the end user visiting the main forum thread, downloading it themselves, and using it however they wish, but when it comes to someone wanting to use it in a ModPack, they have complete reservation from them doing so.

    Is it because...

    .. they want to track the download?
    .. ModPack owners are annoying?
    .. they feel it might not give them credit for their efforts?
    .. they want the end user or player to be forced to visit the thread for current updates and chat?
    .. they just dont want them to use it in a ModPack because their own personality?
    .. of licensing?
    .. of support?


    I would assume most ModPacks are non-successful, reach a very limited user base but it seems like the Dev's see the ModPack creators as just an annoying, non-educated little twirp about to claim their rights to the mod.

    Because they limit it from ModPacks, doesn't that create less interest in an SMP environment? Heaven forbid I walk all my players through installing it and supporting it when a ModPack resolves this.

    And how are Mod creators tracking their mods when they approve its use in a pack? Do they keep a list usually?

    Oh, and speaking of mods... DivineRPG all the way!

    Anywho, just curious.

    Hello, I had a quick question about the comment you made on the initial page regarding ModPack's... You had the question:
    Q: Can I make a modpack with this mod in it?
    A: Yes, as long as people using your modpack still download my mod from my download link.
    So does this mean that the mod cannot actually reside "in it"? It would be great if so, but just clarifying, and thanks for an awesome mod!

    Going to try this out when I get home, but would you approve this being used in a Mod Pack?

    Also, will this app autodownload minecraft.jar, fml, etc. or is that on the user to do manually?
