- For the hunger problem, I would suggest gathering food and such by killing pigs, cows, sheep, rabbits, and chickens. Be sure to cook before eating. Also do not go out at night. And when you go through caves be sure to light your way with torches. This prevents mobs from spawning in areas you have already been in. If you are on easy, play on the latest version. They (I think) made it much harder to lose hunger. And you do NOT need 'to suit up in diamond enchanted armor just to survive a few skeletons', unenchanted iron should do just job nicely on easy mode. When fighting skeletons, remember to either press A or D and jump at the same time to dodge arrows better. I hate skeletons too, but once you get the hang of them you'll do just fine. Getting hit once or twice is normal. Oh yeah, and if you're dealing with a bunch at once, try to make one skeleton shoot another by círciling around them, if that's still possible in whatever version you're playing in. Or, much easier solution (except for the food thing,) switch to 1.8.9, you'll get all of the old combat mechanics and dumber skeleton A.I that don't strafe.

Here's a better idea, a mod that would instaban you from any server. It would have the same end result, and be easier on the moderators.

The source of the problem is rather simple, the cannon is an entity, not a block. This means it won't ever bee seen as a valid ship piece (without additional modding) I'm not certain how the ships mod reacts to non player entities, but the simplest explanation is that the ships and cannons, being from different mods, are not coded to interact.

No offense socky, but you seem to have not been on the internet very long. The term 'Bot' refers to an AI program meant to simulate human input in another program. They are the reason CAPATCHA exists. In this case, the bot would be a client side mod, that simulates player mining behavior. This post has all the context anyone could need.

Since it's a mod it naturally will not work on servers, just thought you ought to know. Because everything you've said here, asking for it to be as inconspicuous as possible, not wanting any balancing requirement, basically being a cheating mechanism that you don't even really need in single player as you can set any world on your own computer open to LAN, which unlocks commands for you in that world.
Basically, it's useless in single player, and it's intended purpose, cheating in multiplayer, a banable offence mind you, won't even work, as the mod would first need to be installed on the server by the owner of the server.

All non player entities are deleted the moment they enter the void, so that would be redundant.
