I appreciate the heads up and understand fully what you are saying but I have no plans of releasing this pack with other peoples work in it at all. At the moment there are no downloads, I am simply sharing some concepts of the overall idea with a few screenshots.

Thank you much... from these early experiments it tends really make you think how you can build and requires a bit more planning depending on certain details you might want to use. Thanks again for the compliment. :)

posted a message on {WIP} Guild Wars Resource Pack
Hello Everyone, I would like to introduce to you a project that I am currently working on. It is a resource pack dedicated to a Guild Wars theme. This project which I have dubbed "Guild Miner" is more than a texture pack, it is a full resource pack with sounds and music from Guild Wars.
The "Guild Miner" pack is primarily based from the original Guild Wars. This pack is still heavily a work in progress and I can't take credit for all things you might see in some screenshots, I created the template for the pack using some of my favorite resource packs. This project started as a small normal project and then became a way to challenge myself. What is the challenge you ask, well basically it was to use as much Guild Wars resources as possible in the creation.
Many of the cornerstones have nearly been completed but there is still much to do to fill the gaps, the music has been implemented except for the the music discs, the sounds are still very much a WIP as some aren't matching time frame of actions (doors and chests) or just simply aren't in my Guild Wars resources (animals mainly). Right now the mobs are still random from a various amount of great resource packs that I used while creating the template for the pack, the mob sounds have been done but may still need some tweaking in some areas. The blocks are still coming along slowly but surely.
I would like to see this pack have many options for building with lots of variant block textures and several models for aesthetics to go with the Guild Wars style. I would love to hear your opinions, questions, comments and other feedback. If you like what you see HIT that "like" and if you want to keep up with some progress shots feel free to look me up on Twitter.

For a little extra help if you are using Photoshop CS2 or higher I think... I have CS3 so I know its there... but you can go into Edit>Preferences>General and go to the box labeled Image Interpolation and select "Bicubic Sharper"... it helps a bit
