well I have watched hermitcraft and mindcrack for ages! and I want to build relationships and friendships like the ones on those servers. as much as single player is fun, it can get boring. playing with other people just adds countless more features! and no matter what server you play on, the admins are always dicks that abuse there powers, and the mods never help. I am sick of that, I want a server where everyone is even and we all know each other, willing to help each other out.

8.Why should we choose you:
Well, I can play a lot. I have been told by many people I am easy to get along with, and I love meeting new people and making friends. but above all that, I have quite a lot of minecraft experience under my belt. my passion is to do big builds, I will spend hours digging out a massive hole in the ground to build an awesome base, and I love doing other big things as building community things in and around spawn. I am also quite a technical player, I have ALOT of redstone experience. and redstone projects are amongst my favourite to do!

9.What are some of your favorite things with the new update:
they have done so much with the game mechanics! such as the villagers and the way they now behave! gonna be able to do some awesome farms with them! they have also been putting a lot of work into hoppers, which hopefully will pick out most of the bugs, cant wait for 1.8 to roll out!

10.What is UHC/Mindcrack:
good god, if people don't know what this is... mindcrack is a server similar to this one, the have both there own modded server aswell as vanilla. a tightknit community. and a great youtube series to watch!
And ultra hard core! another fantastic series, recommend watching both UHC and mindcrack from multiple channels!

11.What do you think you can do best in Minecraft: well I did touch on this but my strong suit is redstone and big builds, but don't worry, I also keep everything looking very pretty, as minecraft ocd drives me crazy!

12.Any ideas on what you want to build/do on the server:
the options are endless, community farms in 1.8 with villagers is up there. haven't every really built big under water bases, so that could be a possibility, but I want a spawn house that makes everyone go wow!

13.Any pictures of your builds: don't actually have pictures sorry! something I will defiantly be keeping up on now though! I love raspberry nipple icecream!

16.Tell me something about yourself: next to minecrat AFL is my next favourite thing (Australian football league) and I have represented my state for that sport, so the only time minecraft hours will be cut back is for footy, but we are in the off season at the moment

It's pure vanilla and has UHC mode on, which I have been looking for (I think it will make the gameplay a lot more fun and intresting). 8. Why should we choose you: I'm friendly, mature and would love to have a good server to play on that has friendly players and an active community. I'm really experienced with the game and I think I can build some cool farms for the community.

9. What are some of your favorite things with the new update: I love the new villager AI, you can make really awesome farms with it. The new trading and skins are also neat.

10. What is UHC/Mindcrack: UHC means that you have no natural regen and can only regenerate health with potions, golden apples or beacons, but it's also the name of a PVP event that the players of the Mindcrack server do from time to time. Mindcrack is a private vanilla SMP server started by Guude. All the players are youtubers and make awesome content. Etho is my favourite

11. What do you think you can do best in Minecraft: I'm pretty good with overall surviving and redstone (I love making farms). I'm also a decent builder but not the best. I also like playing PVP on the Hypixel and PlayMindcrack servers.

12. Any ideas on what you want to build/do on the server: I would like to try some new kinds of wheat farms and make a high efficiency mob farm. I would also like to build a cool base and perhaps some community buildings but I'm not too sure yet.

16. Tell me something about yourself: I'm a 16 year old boy from Finland. I love PC gaming and music and I'm pretty good at school. I have been playing the guitar for a few years and classical piano since I was around 7. I love trash metal, like Megadeth and Metallica, but I like almost all the other types of rock as well, like Motörhead, AC/DC, Pantera, Guns N' Roses, Queen.... I'm pretty open minded and like all types of music from Eminem to Groove Metal to classical music. I don't really like playing alone so I would love to be on the server! 7.Why does this server spark your interest:Nice question! It's hard to say what I'm thinking but... when you see something you instantly know if it fits you. So, I was looking for a nice survival server and this one really got my attention.
8.Why should we choose you:I might look like a conceited guy but... trust me I'm the player you are looking for XD. I can bring a little bit of happiness into your server, I take everything with a little bit of sarcasm and I don't cry if I die in a lava lake. What I'm trying to say is that you won't regret if you accept me. I've played on a SMP server for 4 months (actually, I'm still playing on it but I will left if I get accepted, I think there's no need to be part of 2 servers at the same time), but a lot of members left and the server is most of the time empty. Plus, a friend of mine that you recently accepted (VampNova9) was playing on the same server, I casually saw his application on this post. I just wanted to tell you that you've made the best choice of your life by accepting him, trust me, he is a good guy . (In case you are wondering, we are not applying together, it's just a fortuity.
9.What are some of your favorite things with the new update:The 1.8 update/snapshots? Obviously the slime block is my favorite addition but what I like the most are the changes that they are realizing with the villagers behavior. I would say I like the skin customization changes, but I really suck at making skins and I don't like to take them from the internet.
10.What is UHC/Mindcrack:UHC stands for Ultra HardCore. It is a tournament and also a gamemode where the player cannot naturally recover health, but he needs to drink potions or eat a golden apple. Mindcrack is a community of minecraft players that hang out and play together, record videos and post them on youtube! I LOVE THEM!
11.What do you think you can do best in Minecraft:I'm really good at PvP and actually for a long time I've played every single day on the Overcast Network (in case you don't know, it's a PvP based server) The second thing I can do best in Minecraft is probably building. I'm not the best builder ever BUT I know how to use materials and combine them to make my builds look good. I'm also good at building mob farms, I've made 4 or 5 mob-farms and I got to say it, every one of them turned out very nicely!
12.Any ideas on what you want to build/do on the server:I was planning on making a Speed potion shop! Most of the time you need to do LONG and BORING trips to get from one place to another one and Speed potions are the best things to use! Another build would be my base. I wanted to do a platform base where each platform is used for different tasks. I may help out in case we want to build an Ender Ender.

16.Tell me something about yourself:That's always been the hardest question XD What can I say... I'm a guy who likes playing video-games, I have a friendly attitude and I usually don't get angry. At the moment I'm not practicing any sport, but I will be soon. My main "Hobby" (if it is an hobby) is watching youtube videos and I would really like to join your server for making new friends!

7.Why does this server spark your interest: This server sparks my interest on many levels. For starters I like how much time and effort is put into the forum topic making it seem as if you actually know what you are doing unlike many forum posts, which seem to be put together in the matter of seconds. What I also like about this server is its vanilla aspect, yet I do like plugins sometimes . However I can get over that fact, plugins aren't as important as a good community. What also sparks my interest of this server is it seems it is not run by immature, younger kids (I know that I am not that old as well). For example I applied for one server not too long ago to find out the server was run by an 11 year old and a 12 year old who seemed to have no experience with running their server.
8.Why should we choose you: You should choose me because in my opinion I am a fairly decent builder. I have also been told on a server I did run for about a year I was a nice, respectful, and fair owner. What surprised me the most when running that server was I was apparently doing such a good job one of my members decided to pay for it as long as I wanted to run it. I can also joke around with the members of the server and can most of the times take a joke as well.
9.What are some of your favorite things with the new update: What I like with the 1.7 updates is the new woods, stained glass, and generally the new blocks they added. With the latest snapshot I really love the new block types such as granite, andesite, and diorite.
10.What is UHC/Mindcrack: UHC stands for Ultra hardcore, where players do not regen any of their health even by food. One of the ways to receive your health back is by golden apples. Mindcrack is a minecraft survival server made by the famous youtube Guude (http://www.youtube.c...uudeBoulderfist) in late 2010. This server is also whitelisted and not accepting applications. Their server is also so famous and popular, many minecraft players strive to create a server similar to theirs. Kinda like what you are doing here .
11.What do you think you can do best in Minecraft: What I believe I can do best in minecraft is building.
12.Any ideas on what you want to build/do on the server: What I have in mind to build on the server is many community/public areas to mess around with and facilities only allowed for the personal use of me. My building style is kind of a medieval, nordic kinda style yet however I wish to strive away from that and build something new and exciting!

5.How long are you able to play: On the server? I will definitely be going on there weekly. For times, probably atleast an hour and a half.
6.How long have you been playing with minecraft: I have been playing Minecraft since 1.4. So I'm "new" compared to others. However, this game made me dedicated to learn everything possible in it. Of course, I don't actually know everything, because it has only been about a year and a half - two years. It started just playing casually playing with my brother, but it turned into a hobby, and I couldn't imagine not expressing creativity in it for another two years or more.
7.Why does this server spark your interest: It sparks interest as you seem very dedicated to this server. It seems that this server is being very active(however this is why I asked the question above). I love the idea of PURELY vanilla, nothing more and nothing less, just with people to enjoy it with. The idea of UHC and Hard Mode just made me feel excited, even though I'm not in the server. I believe those two combined would create some laughs and tension, which is only fun when around other people.
8.Why should we choose you: I hate bragging about myself, but it seems like this question requires it. Well, I get along with other people quite easily, of course depending on how they act towards me. The way I see it is treat people the way you want to be treated. I love building small but detailed buildings, so if you want to me single-handedly build a massive structure, I am sorry sir, I am not your guy! I am also very respective( or is it repectful? ). I don't break the rules and try to treat everyone politely. I am also a HUGE giver, I never feel right taking, unless it is something like a trade. I also know when to be serious and when not to, but I am quite friendly when it comes to conversing.
9.What are some of your favorite things with the new update: The latest snapshot? Oh, I LOVE the skin change! I mean, sure the buttons and villagers are cool, but that seems real technical. So what I love most is being able to put more details into your character! How cool is that, honestly. I also love the new stone types, I think andersite is my favorite!
10.What is UHC/Mindcrack: Well, UHC stands for Ultra Hardcore. This is a gamemode where health does not naturally regen, unless with a beacon/potion/golden apples. It is originally its own gametype, until it was added into Vanilla Minecraft in the Mindcrack server. Now the Mindcrack(Server) is a server, created by Guude, with a ton of friends just hanging out with each other. No one getting truly mad at someone, and everyone having a good time and recording and playing. The Mindcrack server also brought together friends to make collaborations with.
11.What do you think you can do best in Minecraft: PvP? Haha, a little humor. I definitely believe my strong point is building. I also follow redstone and mob grinder tutorials, and follow them extensively! I also mine, but then again my PvE skills are also bad, so that doesn't usually work out for me.
12.Any ideas on what you want to build/do on the server: Oooh, I wonder what has already been built.. I was actually thinking about little parkour courses, cause who can get enough of those! I also really want to help other people out, whether needing some materials or just want someone to accompany you, I'll be right here!
