    A cinematic scripting engine (a new game mode, or available in creative?) that would allow players to use a GUI or commands to set certain things to happen at a certain time.

    Example:

    [start]

    [time1] [place pig 1 1 x45y22z74]

    [time5] [pig1 move] [x45y22z74x45y28z74]

    [time6] [pig1 sound]

    [time8] [place lavasource x45y29z74]

    This macro would start the script, then 1 second in a Pig (marked as Pig1) would be placed at the coordinates x:45, y:22, z:74, then 4 seconds later it would walk 6 blocks to the coordinates x:45, y:22, z:74, then 1 second after that it would oink, then 2 seconds later lava would be placed beside it, killing it. This system would make machinima far easier, as it would remove the element of manipulating things yourself/needing a cameraman, and allow you to film it yourself while the events unfold.

    Of course there are many far sleeker ways to implement this, but this is just a rudimentary draft of a possible option.

    I am a 12 year old with ADHD... I am a brony... but I loved every single word on my screen. If just one high-up Mojang employee could read this, hell, even a community idol i.e the yogscast, ipodmail, CaptainSparklez, etc could read this, and be vocal about it, I'm sure Minecraft will be changed for the better. But of course, the fat child will cry for his candy until it is returned to him, a fact all too obvious by the amount of "changed X back to X" evident in the snapshot and update change-logs.

    The worst biome besides the obvious ocean, imo, is taiga. It's just so...drab, and some tundra goes on foreeeeever. I don't particularly like spawning in forests either because even though wood is readily available, it's more of a pain in the ass to build anything, I either have to hope there's a decent building biome nearby (luckily there usually is) or I find a small cave entrance I can build around before nightfall.

    I once spawned on a grassland island with no trees, and while there were trees on a nearby landmass, that landmass had just a tiny peninsula of mountains (with no cave entrances!), some grassland, a swamp (the only decent terrain around), and then in one direction an endless ocean, in one direction a huge forest, and in another direction an endless tundra plain (seriously, it went on forever). Needless to say I quit that one pretty quick.


    Wow, for me swamp biomes are nothing but cave entrances! And that last paragraph actually sounds like an awesome world to me.

    Wow, that coming through the portal thing sounds cool. I know it's a long shot, but it would be amazing if a few netherrack blocks spawned around the portal after awhile, and if left unchecked, could grow in to a large area of Nether in the overworld, spreading over all blocks except obsidian and bedrock, mobs and all (no fortresses obviously). Imagine returning to some long forgotten portal only to find that several chunks had been taken over by the Nether! Destroying it would make a fun quest, and it would be awesome to build a big obsidian chamber with a glass viewing station and create your own personal section of the Nether. OMG, imagine the possibilites if Mojang implements Pigman trading... I need to make a thread some time :P
