i know you said not to ask for tanks and helis and guns etc. but i really want to stage battles massive modern wars. at least think about it! Other then that this is a perfect mod!!!
I feel ya there...haha
That's why I can't wait for The RC Mod to update....hehe
But when I started a new game, those mods werent activated.
Did you check the Mods list from the MC main menu? To avoid repeating myself too much read from THIS thread on from someone who got it working....lol
If that still does not work put the current .minecraft folder into a backup one then launch MC by itself and do a Forced Update to start clean.
Okay, uhm... If you have a java.util.ConcurrentModificationException crash, It's a bug with spawning particles. I will fix it in a couple of hours
Thanks for answering. I have turned all particle to either off or to the minimum and all is well. Seeing nearly 500 of them tiny guys duking it out is awesome.....
Thanks for all you put into it.
ETA: I see you have a screenshot of the week in the OP. Here is a few I took. Two of them are from 2 out of 4 teams and the other one is the near end aftermath....lol
I am on a mac and i downloaded magic launcher for mac but whenever i hit login (or test) Minecraft Doesnt load past the mojang picture. Could you plase tell me how to fix this but keep it as an application
Make sure you have a clean minecraft.jar. If ML is telling you in the setup screen that it is modified do a Forced Update through MC itself to get one.
If you have previously used any other mod managers put the current .minecraft folder into a backup one. Once there is no .minecraft folder anywhere do the above mentioned steps and try it again to see if it helps. If you can do it that way on a Mac, I dunno as I run W7...lol
Great to see this mod get the attention it deserves
Loving this mod.....
Couple of more suggestions. Something like a on screen gui for moving the hologram around instead of the screen darkening and the game going on pause would be awesome.
Do coremods not work with MagicLaucher? They are not loading for me for some reason.
All I have is forge 4.0.0.249, mystcraft 1.3.2-0.9.2.01 and I put Chicken Core 0.6.0 and MEI 1.4.0.0 in coremods and they aren't loading at all.
Loading fine for me, but MystCraft is showing 1 error. That's all I tested though.
Oh, huh.
Well whatever the problem was, deleting META-INF seems to have fixed it.
If it works I guess....lol
If by chance you have used other mod managers it is best to start fresh by putting the current .minecraft folder into a backup one then launch MC by itself to get a clean copy.
Thanks! I put all my mods in a different folder and it's working now.
There is a couple exceptions to that rule. "Core" mods like "Not Enough Item's" that need to go into the "CoreMods" folder have to go in there until sp614x can update ML to recognize them. That means whenever you do not want to use them they have to be removed from it or they will load no matter what.
I'm trying to get Twilight Forest to work with this. I've added Forge and Twilight Forest in Magic Launcher, and I put Forge first, but when I tried to launch Minecraft I got this error message:
Mods are loading twice most likely because you have them checked both on the top list and bottom list at the same time. I always recommend placing all mods and mod loaders into a secondary folder because of just this situation. So try creating another folder and put them all in there and only have them added on the upper list.
EDIT4: Mods are causing the error? Wierd... Have a workaround for that, SIMJEDI?
Not all mods downloaded are miracously going to work....lol You have to learn mod authors way of packaging their mods. Look inside each mods zip file. If there is a folder inside called something like "Put in minecraft jar" you have to extract the contents of that folder then re-zip them. There is a video on the previous page for an example. Start by adding one mod at a time to find what one is giving you fits, not all mods are compatible with each other either.
That line right there is saying you only have 32bit (x86) Java installed. You will need to also download the 64bit version as the auto download on their website only detects the version of your browser.
Can't load up Minecraft with ML. Here's the report:
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
That's the error that happens when you run out of RAM. Try setting the allocation to 0 so MC dynamically handles it. Since you have a 32bit operating system you can't be using so much.
After setting it start a game up then hit F3 to watch your memory then set it a little above of what is being used if you want.

And I noticed this in the "New" additions
Better Skies for OF in the future?

Enough people have been reporting it here I'm sure sp614x knows about it.

No you don't, this works fine using the ML method of not touching the jar file.
On another note, I get this at the end of the log file, it crashes with a large scale battle of 400+ going on.

If the servers are down then you can just hit the "Test" button for offline play.
