((Jeff is a figment of Samarkset's imagination, as are the other creatures. He incarnates as physical at times, however. SD is not above the gods, nor is he more powerful. When I said he is older than the gods, that was a metaphor. Samarsket is elemental chaos, which predates the universe itself. He was never more powerful than the gods, and he is not now either. He is simply storing them. Kabuto is an instance of the old god's power fusing and accidentally creating a new being. He is equivalent to Samarsket in power. I hope this clears things up.

Kabuto screamed in pain as the stone pillar slammed into a green circle of skin between his legs, his sensitive spot.
Samarsket smiled at the creature's pain, refocusing his bullets to that area.

Home Mountain has been relatively peaceful. No more murders have been attempted, and the storehouse is complete. It is divided into eleven sections; one for each clan, plus one for whoever. It's almost like a bank. The various clans have been moving large portions of their treasuries into it.

The scouting party is growing tired. They have vowed only to go for another month, before turning back home. No more have been eaten by boneworms or poisoned, but food has been scarce in the desert. They have found they can eat sand, and although it makes them lighter, their scales dull to beige.

Research: Ixmucane believes that if certain rocks are heated enough, they could be shaped and allow for easier digging. The goldrune, while generally in open contempt of Ixmucane, agree, and believe that weapons could be created aswell.

Samarsket pushed the creature back, beating and flailing with his whip, until the reached the clearing with everyone else in it.
"Sup?" John yelled, before loading and firing his shotgun again.
Kabuto leapt at Samarsket, slamming him unexpectedly into the ground, causing the earth to ripple.
The stream of crimson energy intensified, and the colors of the world inverted for a split second. Red became cyan, green purple, white black.
The world reset to normal, and Samarsket attempted to drape one of his wings over the gem to stem the flow, while continuing to pound Kabuto with bullets.
Kabuto roared fury, and picked up someone near him ((Next person who posts is the lucky winner of this prize)) and threw him at Samarsket. ((You)) bounced off Samarkset's armor, and in fury, he breathed a stream of flames at Kabuto, dousing him in the heat.

Samarsket and Kabuto circled each other.

Without warning, Kabuto lunged forwards at Samarsket, knocking him to the ground. Samarsket threw several punches to Kabuto's head with his minigun, and then spun him into the ground, leaping backwards into the air and firing hundreds of bullets.
Kabuto, roaring in fury, picked up a boulder from the ground, and with stunning accuracy, struck Samarsket in the chest, where the red gem was, causing it to crack, and let loose a slow stream of reddish energy to flow out of him. Samarsket's face was painted in horror as he landed on the ground and struck Kabuto with the whip, lighting Kabuto on fire and tossing him to the ground.
"IT'S ON!" John shouted.
