In-Character Details
Character Name: Dalton Winthell
Character Race: Halfling
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: As a carrage heads out from the Vale, two Halflings, Angel Winthell and Ronald Winthell travel down to start a new life. Unfortunately they decided to leave their child, Dalton Winthell. Luckily they left him with his uncle, Symru Winthell, to watch over him. While his parents wanted Dalton to become a great brewer like his father, Dalton's true passion was in books. Everyday he would venture off to find a new book or see if anyone has a story to tell. By the time he took the age of 14, he just about heard all the stories he you can imagine, like Matilda and the sleepy goat, or Jasper and the thieving rabbits. While one day walking out while the sun rose from the starry night, Dalton wondered if he could create stories. With this idea imprented in his mind Dalton stopped by the library and start working on a story to tell. As he began writing the day seemed to end as fast as it started. Dalton finished his book and was all ready to show it to his uncle.
Strolling down the road he held his book with him tight. He was just about to cross the bridge to his uncle's home when suddenly he was tied and put onto a carriage to who knows where.
Upon being untied Dalton could easily see the crowd of bandits in front of him. With fear of how giant the bandits seemed to appear, he tries to back away unseen but bumps into a wall. The bump into the wall made a loud noise which startled some of the bandits. One bandit desides to open his cell and pick him up by his ear.
"Hey guys! Looks like we got ourselves a pip squeek!" Said the bandit pulling Dalton's ear. The bandit tossed him aside and shut the cell then commanding the other bandits to move on to somewhere else. Crawling on his knees, Dalton spots a key outside the cell and grabs it opening the cell. As he bursts out he sees the bandits all fighting for what was in his pack. Dalton uses this as a chance to make a run for it. It takes some twists and turns but Dalton finally sprints out the main doors into the dense woods. Continuing to run and hide, Dalton quickly gets tired and passes out from exauhstion. Awaking, Dalton finds himself withing some sort of temple of sorts. Now Dalton must find his way back to the Vale and try to go back to his old life.
What are your characters ambitions?: Dalton's main ambition is to become a renowned writer and continue to learn and make stories.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Dalton also has a normal craving for ale like any other halfling and will continue writing no matter what. He also seems to have an abnormal craving for fish. This could be because of his father being a fisherman.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? Walking past a crowded market place in the majestic town of Arethor, I spot a lone dwarf shopkeeper working at his stand. The dwarf does not have much, but he does seem to have a nice black walking stick on display. "How much for the walking stick friend?" I asked. "Fifty Minas lad! Replied the dwarf. I had to think about it for a moment. Fifty Minas was alot and I need all the money I can get. I quickly look around and notice no one else seems to be interested in the dwarf's stand. "Alright........I'll gladly pay fifty minas for that walking stick." I said. The dwarf seemed shocked I would actually pay such an large price for only a walking stick
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? After a long night at the local Inn, I wonder the streets of Oren when suddenly I spot the behemoth of all orcs threatening a lone dwarf. "What ye doing orc? This dwarf looks mighty strong!" I said to the orc. "Bahahaha! Ye tink dis little dwarf can defeat meh?!" Yelled the orc. "Dis lil dwarf tried to ****** me minas!" As soon as I saw their weapons raise I decided to back off a bit. "Just try to take mah minas Orc!" bellowed the lone dwarf. "Oh look at the uh........I'll just uh....I'll just go." I said as I turned and walked away. While walking I could have sworn I saw the two begin a harsh battle. This is discouraging, but I know a little halfling such as myself could not have stopped such a thing.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: Standing in awe as an old man tumbles after his walking stick breaks, I can't help but stare at the bounty of minas the old man has. "Ah! My walking stick broke!" Yelled the old man. I rushed to him and saw the shattered walking stick next to his many minas. "Let me help you old man!" I said as I helped get him back on his feet. "Thank ye boy." Responded the old man. I decided to give the old man the black walking stick I had bought from the dwarf. "You need it more then I friend!" The old man gives me a hearty thank you and we both walk off towards Malinor, exchanging stories and just talking along the way.
