    So I've been trying to find out why I'm getting this sort of issue, but can't find a solution.



    I don't know why the "All is well" text appears when I'm wanting to enable block replacement, but I'd love to know what I'm doing wrong. The machine will not allow me to place a block in that slot. It seems like no one can find an answer to this from the searching I've put into this issue.Thanks for ignoring this problem like the others

    I'm very grateful for your mods, especially your backup mod. I couldn't count the times a mod would be like "I heard you liked corrupted saves..." And I could just simply pull out a backup of the world, and fix the issues that a mod caused me to crash. I set my backups to 10 minutes (thankfully no lag occurs) But I'm paranoid, because just like anyone else, I hate re-doing alot of things. Anyways, your mods are great, and you should feel great.

    I do not post very often on the forums, but when I do, it is to express how much I enjoy a mod.



    I was playing around with a lot of mods like I normally do, then I realized that I'm using so much space in my base, because I like to have

    almost everything in one area to access. This mod has honestly helped me with space management for my base, AND I have less lag in the

    overworld as a whole. And I don't get lag while being in the compact machines themselves, because I can separate my automation to every room.



    You are my hero, I hope you continue keeping this mod alive and updating it always.

    12/10 will always use mod.

    with less lag, and able to use HD texture packs without using mc patcher, this is really nice.
    Maybe in a few months, mod api will come out and everything will be easier to do.

    posted a message on Zombie Survival Ideas
    After seeing a few mods, I came across an idea. (seeing that a few exist currently)
    Zombie survival. I know some that (maybe) would agree with me that it would be fun trying to survive with zombies out
    there trying to kill you and trying to make it. So I'm going to explain a few things what exists and what's needed that it would be awesome if coders could come up with this.

    What's currently existing

    - Survivalism Mod: {Click here} What wouldn't be fun as though trying to eat / drink? That would give more style to trying to survive. So why not? The more challenging stuff to the style of this survival would test your skills.

    - SurvivalCraft Mod {Click here} If you take the portion of the video you see here, at least for zombies, then breaking blocks for them would be easier, to get to places, and to you faster. Of course you could tell a zombie wouldn't be able to break it alone, But... Give time, and the health of the blocks would eventually weaken , and break. (Not saying a set of zombies could easily get though a brick wall of course lol)
    but yeah.

    - SDK's Mods:(yes I noticed it's outdated) {Click here} It would be almost wrong to not have weapons, guns, etc to survive. You know in real life, you're either gonna die, or find a weapon of some sort. And that's usually either a gun, or a blunt weapon.



    What doesn't Exist (as I know of)
    - A mod where only zombies spawn: If a zombie outbreak happens, you know skeletons aren't going to appear during a zombie outbreak, no less than a exploding green shrub (lolz). (Least I hope not.)

    - make it harder to break certain blocks: Just an idea, stone breaking is pretty fast with a pic, and in real life, digging a hole, by human manual laber alone, should be just a tad be harder. Pretty much, if you want to survive, you will not get far, and doing anything will take a good amount of time. (to increase "slight fear" and tense-ness)

    - spawn little towns , buildings, etc, with treasures inside: It wouldn't be too fun if you weren't able to loot areas would it? With new items to do things (read below on other ideas for more details) and this also can mean to put needed items (like iron, coal perhaps, etc) to keep going without being in the dark. (since the "breaking blocks be harder for the player idea)

    - give new items: Of course you can't have a zombie survival without random weapons, loot, meds, foods, etc to survive right? Yeah killing pigs are ok, but you think you'd be doing that in real life? (perhaps, just go with what I'm saying)

    - Survivors: You know as well as I do, In a zombie outbreak, you're not going to be alone. So why not have survivors? Of course in 3 types. The peaceful ones, neutrals, and the hostiles? Any of them can drop random items (possible) and depending what they are (saying hostile and neutral would have weapons, and peaceful ones just run/hide etc) Better yet, just think about it. I think if any of you are a zombie survival person, you know exactly what I mean.

    - Furniture: For the random small town rendering, like fridges, cabinets, etc, mostly stuff to loot. Along with a few other things like TV's, chairs, etc to that nature. Showing more things than chests that exist to obtain random items.

    - Disablement of zombies burning during day: We all know zombies really -wont- burn on fire if the sun is showing. They aren't vampires.(l4d lol), anyways, with that, zombies should spawn a bit more (since the request of making zombies only spawn and nothing else) But I guess as a sort of twist (kinda like project zomboid?) make more zombies spawn at night, so allowing the player to be able to give some sort of chance.

    - Running & Noise: 1.8 will be out very shortly/soon-ish, so how about noise? If you read your zombie books well, zombies hear noise and goes to the direction towards where the noise is went. Crouching (holding down shift) could keep from much noise from being heard. So in concluding, sprinting/running could spawn (by a certain % to keep from over doing it), more zombies to come to the player's direction. This also could work with the shooting of guns obviously. (From the SDK's mod)

    - The zombie's main power: Infection To the survivors idea I gave, how about when a zombie bite to a survivor ... Well creates another zombie? Give the realistic-ness that's needed for a zombie outbreak?


    - Zombie's loot: You know every zombie in the world was a human at once (saying it started by an infection), so they are going to be zombies that has stuff in their pockets, backpacks, etc to anything that was on them (not saying a purse because it would be more held, <- giving example), but stuff more along the lines of being held on their person. So the Loot should be more than a feather. More stuff depending on rarity etc. Anything from a piece of coal (cause the minecraft world is minecraft lol) to a SDK's gun. So yeah.

    - Special zombies:(Optional open mind thinking here)To some this may not be as fun, but... How about harder to deal with zombies? I mean... If were playing a game here, why not give powerful zombies into existence? Of course they give higher rates of giving better stuff, but they can be harder to fight too (obviously)
    Take deadfrontier for example. Red zombies, you don't want to mess with them unless you're absolutely ready (or if you're a fast person lol), but if you kill them off, they give better stuff, then there's the green zombies which oh my gosh lol. (anyways)
    Take that for example.

    And... That's my idea. Any other ideas? Like?

    Then... On my friend's server, I somehow managed to make this, with minimum amount of flaws.

    So...... Just wanted to say,
    Advanced openGL actually helps my minecraft (before the mod), and when it's taken out,I notice slight lag. But, with the mod, I can't change the option to on. But I -know for sure- the advanced openGL option before the mod was helping my minecraft run a bit better.

    The SMP lag is mostly network traffic and Notch has already invested some time optimizing it. What is probably left is sending only the changed blocks to the client, not the whole chunks. I am not planning to start a SMP mod anytime soon.

    So... Would you -when you get time-, make a blog update or something on your future plans on what you will be doing. I'd personally would like to know what else minecraft needs and what your plans are on to fixing them. ^^
