Its a side project, you think that if it fails all of nvidia's massive share in the GPU market is just going to go away?
NVIDIA's inferior GPUs are only outselling AMD because of reputation.
If NVIDIA makes a terrible console, their reputation goes down the toilet...

    Quote from DaemoN67

Yes, Apple does have good reason to sue. Samsungs operating system on their tablet is a DIRECT copy of Apples. Exactly the same. Apple's not suing because of the shape or size of the devices, it's because the operating systems are laid out exactly the same. Seriously, get Apples and Samsungs tablets together, and have a little playaround. They're EXACTLY the same. It's ridiculous, and if I were Apple, and Samsung made that tablet or phone, I WOULD SUE FOR PATENT/COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT!!!!!
    Please tell me you're trolling.
My mother has a galaxy tab and my father has an iPad (I have a Nexus 7), and I can tell you now that they are completely different.

posted a message on Is this an okay build? (First try)
    It looks fine.
But I'd personally go with a Western Digital HDD.

Just remember that there are a lot of good cases to choose from, even at the $50 price-tag.
Sacrificing a little airflow for a better looking case isn't necessarily a bad thing.

The 6850 will bottle neck the 2500k just get either a cheaper processor or more expensive graphics card.

I think it's a bit annoying that apple products get 'outdated' within a year...
    They're outdated before they're released.

Putting such a high resolution on such a small screen seems kind of pointless.
    The difference is probably unnoticeable.

posted a message on Windows, Mac or even linux?
    For regular use
Windows or a simpler Linux distro like Mint or Ubuntu.
    For gamers
    Windows.
    For more complicated use
    Windows and Linux.
You may prefer a Linux distro, but you'll still want those Windows-exclusive programs.
    For artsy people
    Windows.
Silly how people think that Macs are superior for it; it's the programs that make you do artsy stuff better; not the OS.
And guess what OS all the good programs are available for...
For people with infinite money and are only going to use their computer as a fashion accessory
    Possibly mac.
But this is the only exception.
