Pretty sure the issue isn't with META-INF. If they installed it once, they should already know to delete those files. I think it's because the mod is outdated and isnt compatible : P
Alright, so I noticed how optifine, ah, "reacts" with Thaumcraft 2 and read in the EAQ that optifine "smooth" works fine with it. Is the EAQ outdated or something, because I just tried Optifine smooth with the mod and I still got the saving chunks error. I only care about having optifine because I need a way to use an HD texturepack with this mod, since it also disables the option to get the HD fix on MCPatcher.
If anyone could just give me another way to support the HD texturepack I use (Faithful 32x32) I would be really happy.
Maybe the survivors could be tamable? Give them a can of beans and they will follow you? Then you could start a little town/camp/whatever.
Also, in the config files for the wasteland addon, are the max mob spawns per chunk the max number of mob spawns of that type that will EVER spawn in that chunk, or just the max ammount of mobs that will spawn on that chunk per chunk update/re render? If it IS the max ammount of mobs that will EVER spawn on that chunk, it seems like there should also be an option to make NO max ammount of spawns per chunk.
shouldn't reis minimap be compatible now since the new wasteland download doesn't edit any base classes also this mod is modern how if you were to play the first version of the wasteland mod (remember this is an updated version by the holy Frenchman) there was no sign of anything modern and there is nothing modern here the only modern i see is in the add on stuff and that is all really so this really isn't modern and fallout and this mod are very different again if people want a fallout mod this really isn't the place since this isn't fallout but that's my opinion
Actually, it sounds like one of your associates has a different view. On the poll, there are many options suggesting they plan to add guns and other more "modern" elements. And a wasteland/fallout area is referring to a time when that region was exposed to massive ammounts of radiation, usually in the form of nuclear or atomic bombing. So tell me, if the mod ISN'T supposed to be around the modern/near future era the when DOES it take place? Middle-ages? Yeah right. Knights, kings, and nuclear bombs. That sounds about right. As for the part about not wanting it to be fallout, were not trying to turn it into a fallout mod. Were making suggestions that fit with the THEME, which just so happens to fit with the Fallout theme. Just because we want a high-tech map GUI or a hand-made revolver
doesn't mean were tryin to make this into Fallout. It's an epic mod, but we just want more content.

It actually looked like something that could be in the wasteland, and the fire and parts on the ground really set the mood!
I think it would be great if your structure was added to the wasteland mod!
suggestions are welcomed its just sad to see that the moment people suggest they say since the mod is like fallout this from fallout should be added or this should be like fallout since its a wasteland so you should add this and this get the point its like when someone makes a sky dimension mod and its called the aethers replacement by most of the members

Lol, no it isn't. But does that matter? A lot of people like myself downloaded the mod because we found it to look a lot like Fallout.
The mod also appears to go for the same general concept of Fallout. So just because this isn't Fallout doesn't mean you can't add features
of that style. I get the feeling from you guys that suggestions and requests are not welcome? If this is the case, say so in the OP :\
I was travelling the map in creative to get an idea of the map, and I LOVE the things you've built. Was that big wall/dam the Hoover Dam?
Anyway, I would focus on making more NPCs. Maybe there is more than what I saw, but so far I saw only roofington and chip, both with almost nothing to them ( NPC wise, I get that this is a nuclear fallout with hell hole towns). Awesome map. take those
Sweet! Saw the addon, reminds me of fallout 3/ new vegas. It would be awesome if you added rarely spawning strongholds/towns filled with fallout survivors. Maybe add caps? Chems? A gun? (not too overpowered) I've never seen a good fallout mod, so those would be awesome. Even better if you made that another addon like the mobs/explosives addon
