Once again, looking back, I realized that there really isn't enough variety of items/blocks in the game to really make people want to trade. In a short amount of time, anyone could have acquired pretty much any block they wanted.
The Social Overhaul thread had a the same idea, but a much smaller grid. I don't see when you would need to trade so much unless it was like 10k cobblestone for building.
The general idea though... :laugh.gif:
Yeah, looking at it now, I can tell that people aren't going to be trading that much. Im too lazy atm to go make a different picture :blink.gif:
I like Notch, but there are 2 things I wish would happen with him.
1. Him getting into gear and making some new additions. (he did do a really great job on the 1.6.x updates though!!)
2. Listening more to the community...like our suggestions? (I know he is adding some, and has taken other into consideration, but there are some cool ideas out there that need to be paid attention to.)
Since there isn't an easy way to trade (that's safe), I came up with a simple method on safe trading.
So here's what's happening. Basically you would see this window as you are setting up a trade. You right click an item to have it moved to the offer box. Your items wont show up in the offer box you see, but the offer box they see. The selected item will just become darkened out so you can see that you've offered the item. When they offer an item, you will be able to see it in the offer box. Once you are ready to trade, you press the "ok" button. You get a confirmation message on the trade in which you press yes or no. Once both players press accept (and confirm), the items will be given to the players.
If a player cannot hold the amount of items in the offer box, they must exit the trade and free up space. The players can always press "T" to negotiate the trade with the other player.
There is always the drop method, but I thought this would be a nice addition. Just a suggestion!

Pretty cool actually...I think that there need to be more that we can do to decorate our houses. I didn't really get the recipe but that's ok. perhaps- (wood is a trapdoor)
I am looking at the Ristretto 4. If Anyone could give me some insight on if this would be a ok server for about 8 players, it would be greatly appreciated.
(Btw, we were looking to use bukkit for our server, and we'll need to implement BigBrother.)
go to your appdata folder as stated above..copy it and paste it on your desktop. rename it to 'world' (without quote) then put it into your server's folder. if you have another world in there already be sure to rename it first unless you want to get rid of it.

Its in "elysian gardens" but you can take the stargate from spawn to end up right next to it. There are some reallllly hard jumps, so be patient!
