I'm looking for someone to make an like an Icon for my server. This would be used for the Spout server listing, Facebook group picture and stuff like that.
About the server:
It's a small server called "The Breakdown" inspired by the IFD song "Welcome to The Breakdown"
here is a link to our "website" The Breakdown
There are some screen shots on there but if you want to visit the server yourself the address is mc.breakdown.beastnode.net:25583
The Website is very green and brown but I also really enjoy like the blue and grays of our "Special Thanks" part on the homepage
You should really conceder porting this to a Spoutcraft add-on! I mostly use that client and I would love to be able to use this! Here is some information regarding Spoutcraft add-ons (http://forums.spout.org/view/addon-development.18/)
I'm looking for a simple program (I'm on Mac) that I could run that would act just like the multiplayer section in Minecraft. As in be able to add favorites and get all the server information.
Seriously this time, the OS is probably causing you grief in this particular situation because it does not "close" programs, merely turns them idle in the background.
I have worse specs ([email protected], 4GB DDR2@266MHz) with win7, and can do what you're describing PLUS web browsing and video playing just fine.
But if you have the option to upgrade something, upgrade the CPU. Not many people use more than 4GB and RAM speed does not make a significant difference in performance usually.
This would not change anything as the two are unrelated, however, if you are only letting minecraft access less than 1GB of RAM then this will cause you lag.
Hmf..... Well that sucks. I love my Mac and thought I could easily fix it by just slapping some more RAM in it lol
Getting more RAM won't necessarily do anything unless you allocate more RAM for it to use; if you find yourself somehow using all 4 GB of RAM for Minecraft, then get more RAM. Otherwise, processor.
Would giving my Minecraft app more RAM make the processor usage go down?
I'm running a Minecraft server from my MacBook Pro laptop and had some questions.
Whenever I run the Minecraft game, it eats up my CPU and causes client side lag, so it makes it almost impossible to play the game on the same computer that my server is on.
My question is should I get a better processor or more memory?
I made a whole website template for someone awhile ago but they never payed. how would you like to buy it from me? i added your name and took a horrible quality screenshot so someone doesnt steal it
the font, textures, color scheme, etc can all be changed.
name your price.. if you want it :tongue.gif:
It's very nice, but I'm not really looking to pay anything.. I'm too cheap :tongue.gif:
I possibly could, just pm some screenshots, any specific colors, text, ect.?
Just something simple and clean. I like the banner for planetminecraft. so maybe something like that? and the size would be about 700x120. I'll send you some screen shots

Not really. Just like take the code straight from that part in Minecraft. Spoutcraft has it for their launcher, so it shouldn't be all that hard
I would love something like this:

I'm looking for a banner for my server website/signature.
My server is called The Breakdown and the IP is TheBreakdown.dyndns.info. It's a Bukkit, Creative, and very small.
Any ideas would be wonderful!

How does this work on Mac? All it has is an .exe file which doesn't run on Mac without special software...
