    No, it is not a fail, the mods I use and I consider Lore-Friendly are:


    Aesthetic Mods:

    - Optifine (Optional)

    - GLSL Shaders (Optional)

    - Better Foliage (Optional)

    - The Season's Mod (Still testing)


    World Generation, biomes other worlds:


    - Biomes O' Plenty (You have to be very careful using Biomes O' Plenty and Twilight Forest, they don't get along with each other...)

    - Twilight Forest

    - Extra Stones


    Mobs:


    - Mo' Creatures and Custom Mob Spawner (This mod does not get along with Twilight Forest, if you use them both, the mobs from Twilight Forest won't spawn)


    Weapons, Tools and Armor:


    - Balkon's Weapons

    - Lance Mod

    - zz Backpacks


    Player Modifications:


    - More Player Models and Player API

    or

    - Smart Movement

    Sorry, I am using mods for 1.8 now, there is no Localized Weather mod yet, but for 1.7.10 and other versions it does not work, if you want a detailed log, go ahead, just download Forge, More Players Models 2, ColoUtil and Weather mod, you will get any thing necessary for this :D

    This mod is NOT compatible with Localized Weather and Tornadoes mod, every time you load a world it will result in a black screen... That is so bad, I love thees two mods. It's really a shame that I have to choose only one of them... :/ If someone could just fix this... It would be nice! :D

    Sorry guys, I had to speak in spanish, because I am bad speaking in english...



    Basically what this does is that this creates a scoreboard called Temperature which decreases the value constantly all the time.

    - If you wear a full armor set (It does not matter what type of armor you wear), the temperature decreases slower.

    - If you enter the water, the temperature decreases x10 times faster.

    - If you are nearby fire is with a radius of 2, your temperature variable will increase with a limit of 100.

    - If you reach -100 or below, you will die and the variable will reset to 25.

    - You will get potion effects depending on what number is the Temperature variable.

    - You will recieve a message about your temperature status at 99, 50, 25, 0, -25, -50 and -75.

    /setblock ~1 ~ ~ air 0
    /setblock ~ ~1 ~ redstone_block 0 destroy

    I know guys you always want to create something big and fascinating. I like that spirit. That is why I bring you these Norse style buildings of my own, which just fit perfectly in a cold ambience.


    Advice

    The doors flip their direction when you rotate the schematics in mcedit. Back up your wourld! King Palace, House 1, House 2 and the Forge, all of them have campfire inside. If you feel like placing them near trees, make sure not to place them on a tree, otherwise the tree will be insede the building and can be set on fire. You can quickly extinguish the campfire.

    FAQ

    All buildings are full furnished.

    No rules at all. Do what your heart dictated with the schematics. Use them on your maps, on your server, modify them, reupload them, post them on other threads. You don't have to add me to credits.

    Is there any way to change the texture of any vanilla block, with a condition (for example when night arrives) and then set the vanilla texture back (for example when a new day dawns) without using a resource pack?
