I found an interesting bug that happens when you use a certain shader in front of F/A mobs.

Thats pretty impressive, what program you using? That is always a thing to be noted to down as the devs using Java

I am learning C++, but that doesn't really affect what I can output. C++ is pretty universal and most engines are based off of it (not the code itself, but how it works). Java is just another thing to learn. I hope that if I end up getting approval, that I can learn as I help code. Learn things from the others, and just get better and better. I plan to take coding as a source of income, so I will be really serious about what I can learn, and what I can contribute.

As it stands right now though, I am not ready. I probably could code stuff for them though, but I would be pretty guide dependent. I feel I should wait until I can really start to code things "on my own."

Also, about that Tic-Tac-Toe game, the code was all written by me, but I will admit I just needed a small bit of help from my teacher to get it started, but once he told me "how" I should start, I started making connections between functions, variables, ifs, and the like. Heck, I even solved a bug my teacher couldn't figure out! It was the first time we really started working with everything we knew. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I started making the connections.

On a side note, am I the only one that has a computer that thinks Tic-Tac-Toe isn't a word? I thought most people would have had it written down in the spell check books by now. :/

I come back and return to let you all know that my point of coding related knowledge is quickly approaching what I hope is enough to attempt to join the F/A Team. I have worked with all the basics, coded an entire Tic-Tac-Toe game, AI and all, and am about to go into object oriented programming.

I hope when I reach that point that I will be considered so I can show my worth and finally help. I may not be ready now, but I'll have you all know, in time, I will be.

Totally still around. It's not like I haven't played Minecraft for over 3 months (it's not you Minecraft, it's ARK, I still love ya though).

Anyway... I voted for the fire dragon, because, well, fire spreads usually = true? I am just so full of puns today. ^.\-/.^

Uhg, I have been away from Minecraft for far too long. Glad to see Alex working on a dragon mod, as my dream has now come true (no offense to Dragon Mounts... Love that too)!

    Doesn't work :(

Yeah, it's not working. I can confirm it's not on my end because I pinged the website, no survivors, all packets were lost. I want the wiki! :(

I want it because I have a question. That question is, what is the largest length and height the Carnotaurus can be and is there any way to predict the outcome of the size and stats before having to hatch the egg? I had a really big Carno, but then it glitched into the ground, so I exited the world, and when I came back it was gone. So sad, not even any DNA to get it back.

That 's really strange since the forums aren't even sand-colored. Does the red box say anything or is just there ?

No there is nothing in the red box. I am really confused. :(

    It works fine for me?

Odd, it still isn't working. I can get a sand colored background with a red outlined box at the top. I can load other sites just fine. My internet is working fine. I was having this same issue since the day you announced the forums in a post on here. I will see what I can do on my end. Thanks for responding. :)

Uh, I can't access the official forum or wiki. Is the website supposed to be down for maintenance or is it currently not functional?

Edit: I would like to say though, that is one heck of a logo. The artist must have put a lot of effort into that, and it is certainly showing.

I can't wait to see what Alex has in store for the next release! I know it's too early to even think about an update, but to me, this mod is very close to completion. So it's complete to me, but Alex will only be "adding" to it now. The base of the mod is finished, now it needs the details (the many, many details).

alex, how's this one? added parts to the front flippers and changed the eyes

I think it looks much better than the old one. Great job (I really like the addition to the front flippers)!

Edit: Also, was the final model (not texture) for the Utahraptor shown yet? Does it look more advanced then, let's say, the FAR Deinonychus? I would at least hope it was on par with that models complexity and design. Sorry for all the questions about Utahraptor, they are just so special to me... Along with every other raptor.

    1: Yeah.

2: In my opinion, no. It should be one of those theropods who'd like to take a snack out of you, similar to Carnotaurus and Spinosaurus.

But but... Why can't it be both? If not tamed, a ruthless savage, and if tamed, a ruthless savage to everything but you and other Utahs. I mean, obviously you shouldn't be able to tame it by just feeding it, it should be more difficult. Like let's say you have to get it to one health before feeding it to tame it, but they appear in packs of 2 or more, and in order to get one, you need to separate it from the others, or they will all fight you until death. It would be almost like you are breaking it's sense of freedom. Trap it, separate it, injure it, show it who's the boss, and then it will be afraid. Now you tame it, when it feels vulnerable. Feed it back to full health. Or maybe you need to find a baby one in the wild. Please let it be tameable, I plan to live in the Cretaceous dimension. So it would be really nice to have a few Cretaceous Raptors to help me. I am not demanding they be tamable, but I am hoping you'll find a way to make it tameable, no matter how difficult it is.

Edit: Just saw Alex's reply to me. You have now earned my eternal respect. This mod is going to be great. I am taking classes for coding at an extracurricular high-school that is organized like a college for the next two years (I even earn credits towards my college degree). So I will try to focus on learning animating while there. Maybe I will be of help to you in the far future (first year is an introductory class to computers, and the second year is coding). So in two years, maybe I'll come knocking on the door of this Minecraft thread and provide something useful to you all for once.

    1) Will Utahraptor be added to this mod eventually?

    2) If the Utahraptor is being added, will it be tameable?

If the answer is yes to both of these questions I am going to explode with hype! Also, will any mobs be tamable for that matter?

So we have a forum now, does anyone mind testing it? :D http://jurassicraft.net/forum/

It doesn't seem to be loading for me.

Edit: Oh, now I am getting something. It's just a background, but at least it is loading somewhat now.
