posted a message on Opinion: Ghz or FLOPS?
    Quote from nemo296

Me and my friend had a discussion about a week ago and we have come to the conclusion that gigahertz don't mean anything. It's just a frequency. This is just a simple discussion that I thought I'd post. I think that all computer part manufacturer should rate speeds in FLOPS instead of gigahertz. A 1Ghz processor from 2011 would KILL a 1Ghz processor from 2005, because they're not the same FLOPS.

    Indulge.

    Possibly.

PHP used to stand for Programmer's Home Page (in very early versions).

Right now it stands for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor.

Whoops, it seems I finally got things mixed up with my acronyms. :tongue.gif:

They did, search for the parts listed above on Newegg.

If you do not want to build it yourself, find something with similar specs that is already prebuilt on Newegg.

We can't do all the work for you.

Newegg is good, but so is Amazonnnnn.

Well a lot of misinformation can be spread not because a person is trolling but some people do think they are helping when there not.

It can get kinda boring replying to all the recommend me a computer build people. It would be nice if a proper format when asking for parts could be stickied.
Just so hopefully there are less people just saying I need good computer for bf3.

Makes it much easier if people would just list there budget what kinda performance they are hoping for and if they need a laptop or a desktop. What parts they allready have. Would make it a lot easier.

At this point tho most of the time I'm just copy pasting builds from older threads that I recommend.

No we are far from sponsoring Intel. Any one that is asking for a build under 600$ we pretty much always recommend an AMD build and we do recommend a lot of AMD GPUs. The reason we recomend the I5 2500k is it is flat out the best gaming CPU ATM if you can afford it. Any build in the 400$ 100% of the time is going to be a Lano build because it is the best cpu in that price range.

    This.

Well, it's pretty simple. HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language) is of course a Markup Language (if you haven't known), and you pretty much use it to create the things you see, yes? CSS(Cascading Style Sheets) pretty much goes with HTML to make it look better. PHP(Used to be Programmers Home Page, now PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor.) and ASP(Active Server Pages) can be used with SQL(Structured Query Language) to store things in a database.

In Example for PHP/ASP and SQL:

    a user creates an account

the users account is stored in the database and can be grabbed from the database.

If you're going to do JavaScript you should use the jQuery library.

2.5D counts if you could actually represent it as as dimensional form.

So, what's your favorite game in 2D?

I'm sick and tired of ROBLOX topics. We get it, you don't like the game. That's wonderful. Nobody gives a flying ****.
Just leave the game as is. Nobody wants to listen to complaints about the community. We GET IT.
It was fine the first couple hundred thousand times, but now it's just ********.

How about instead of creating yet another ROBLOX thread, you either A ) Reply to one that already exists, or B ) Don't do either and instead create a thread worthy of actual discussion or one that actually contributes to our forum instead of filling it with ****.

I can't. I could get banned for bumping really old threads.

That was also my first time visiting the site; my friend begged me on Steam.

By the way, I did pick up one thing from that site.

I would prefer Kaspersky but I use Norton and Malwarebytes.

I also have something called "Search and Destroy" it's very good at getting rid of viruses, but doesn't stop them from getting into your computer.

    Quote from CodofMC

So is there a better package deal on newegg that has 8GB of RAM for $300? I don't want it to be more than $300 since it will only be used to run that one program, it won't even be connected to the internet.

9 Gigabytes is a lot and should be the max, if not 10.

I would still say the more GB the better. :smile.gif:
