I'm not sure about Nature's Bounty, but I think Light can fluctuate a few blocks. I'll do some testing once I get on next... Not that it'll matter in about two weeks, but...
Oh, and rossmallo, the master infusion stone can be used to craft any tier essence. You just need at least one seed from each tier to get the essences needed to craft it.

Hey, quick question - Do the effects of Sigils go vertically or do they only affect their horizontal plane? If so, is their radius spherical or a cube?
Okay, I'm sorry, but the more I use this version, the more I feel that the Infusion Stones are utterly unneeded and very detrimental to the simplicity of the mod. It breaks instantly in automation, it makes you have to repeatedly click to craft every single essence, and the very worst part, is that the better tiers cannot craft the same thing the lower tiers do, so in total you need to have five different stones just to craft things.
I'm sorry, it just doesn't work for me. It really doesn't.
Okay, been mucking about with the new beta. Lemme run through what I think for this.
Positive:
Much more forgiving recipe for making all of the decorative essence blocks.
Nicer textures.
WITHER SEEDS
The potion crops. Extremely inventive there.
Essence Fences are utterly hilarious. Extremely inventive idea, to have those magic crops actually POWER things. Lots of potential here.
Infused Essence Helmet can see nodes. Dude, WELL DONE. That's been one of the biggest reasons I don't use other helmets, so having that on it is amazing.
Negative:
Oil Essence doesn't seem to work.
Magic fences don't hurt enemies on the top of them, only the side, making some enemies able to bypass them.
Essence Torches don't seem to do anything or have a crafting recipe.
To parrot what the other people are saying - Still no sand recipe. Could you add one?
Essence infused leggings have a broken texture.
Infusion Stones don't work in auto-crafting things like Force Pouches - It instantly self-destructs when it tries to turn the essence into one of the higher ones.
Further suggestions
Is it possible to make all of the plants 1 ID using metadata? It was a nightmare getting this to work due to all the new IDS.
I know I've mentioned this before, but it's getting more glaring - Any possibility of getting more tinted blocks with the newer essences?
Make the Infused Armour chestplate the only thing you need for flight, or give it some other inherent trait - All the others do neat things - Helmet gives Node Visibility, Legs give speed, and Boots give fall damage immunity, so the chest needs something to make it unique.
Also, one other thing - Need any further spriting done?
I really, REALLY hate to ask this, but...is there any way you could make the + / - luck thing available for the 1.6.4 version? REALLY don't want to upgrade to 1.7 yet due to lots of reasons.

Hey, guys. I've been hearing about stuff happening with Thermal Expansion. Looking at the thread, it looks like the main dev isn't working on it any more...But I'm hearing information from other people that someone else is picking it up for a 1.7.2 port.
Does anyone have a definitive answer as to what's going on with it, and if there are any plans for it?
I have only just discovered the sheer, raw power of Time Torches. They are utterly INSANE. Part of me thinks they need to be crafted with Nether Stars or something, but ...The other parts of me are laughing at my quarries utterly mulching a mountain.
Okay, So I finally tried this again after a long, long time of being scared of it - For some reason, when I first tried Ars, it caused utterly crippling lag and when I tried to uninstall it, it made my game crash. So I was ultimately a bit worried about giving it another go.
Thankfully though, it runs like a dream now, and now that I can properly experience it, I can say that the sheer, unbelievable amount of love and polish I can see in this is jaw-dropping.

If you changed the ID for "wire" you were not changing the Mekanism configuration file. There is no "wire" in Mekanism.
Obviously the cables and dusts work for many, many people, so there's something going wrong in your setup. Post a copy of your properly-spoilered forge log or link to a pastebin of your forge log. I'll have a look and see if there are some clues there.
I meant cable, and...Uh...I looked at the console log myself and saw that I had changed the ID...and it conflicted with the electric bow. Epic fail.
Hmm. Probably an NEI thing. But it looks like Gany's Nether is involved somehow.

[R] shouldn't do anything on artifacts, they don't have a recipe. Essences are just combined with a tool material and then used in the anvil to repair other artifacts.
...I just realised, one of the newer NEI things is a thing that shows what can be used to repair stuff. Maybe that's it?
...In all seriousness, I want a mod or something that makes those mob changes a real thing if you, I dunno, manage to mind-control some of the enemies. Ghast Rides through the Nether, Skeleton autofarmers... How cool would that be?

They all take the same time to grow. Bit slower than Wheat, I beleive, but there's high variance.
