This is perfect for people who have terrible connection issues or those who are too lazy to learn port forwarding.
Curious how payment works though. Is it pay money as long as server is active or pay once and be free to play on server forever?

Jun 27, 2012Ronar1 posted a message on 12w25a Snapshot Ready for TestingActually, I really like the new gravel pack. A lot nicer than the old one with grey and... pink?!?!Posted in: News
Also, I feel like instead of a trade being deleted and forcing the player to unlock it again through trades, make it so that once a trade is used 3 or more times, theres a cooldown. Like how animals have a cooldown before they can breed again, give villagers a trade cooldown. -
Jun 21, 2012Ronar1 posted a message on 12w25a Snapshot Ready for TestingBesides the villagers deleting options after 3 trades, I'm liking this snapshot.Posted in: News
I feel like deleting a trade is unrealistic in the sense that people who want to make market places run by villagers will no longer be able to do so. I mean, when you trade with someone a lot, doesn't that mean they like you more so they're willing to trade with you more.
I mean, they already keep updating the prices of some of their wares, they don't need to stop giving you stuff.
And its not as OP as it seems, seeing as how it takes forever to actually accumulate a large amount of emeralds from past experience.
Some people don't want to trade for 5 iron tools before being allowed to trade for 3 diamond picks and then have to get more iron boots and stuff.... -
Jun 14, 2012Ronar1 posted a message on Snapshot 12w24a Available for Testing!I really like this snapshot. Shows how close we are to getting 1.3. probably two or three more bug fix snapshots and we have 1.3Posted in: News

Hmm, the snapshot isnt working for me, mc just goes to the loading screen and then doesnt go anywhere else
I just replace the normal minecraft.jar with the snapshot one?
Yeah, thats it unless your computer is slow.
They still need to fix that issue where no words come up when loading a world. It just bothers me.... -
May 31, 2012Ronar1 posted a message on Snapshot 12w22a Ready For Testing!Hmm, I find that if you make mining and smelting give exp then you should raise the exp system back to 50 max.Posted in: News
Or just bring it down to 30 but take out ore exp. -
May 28, 2012Ronar1 posted a message on Tripwire Experiments; Minecraft WeddingHmm, I feel like stone pressure pads would have been less noticeable than tripwires...Posted in: News
Although the fact that trying to break the trip wire causes the redstone to go off momentarily makes it harder to dismantle once noticed. -
May 28, 2012Ronar1 posted a message on Emerald Blocks on the Way?Hmm, i feel like they should give iron, gold, and diamond blocks a cool texture like emerald and lapis blocks too.Posted in: News
Like emerald has that nice shape on the front and lapis has a nice texture. Diamond blocks should have that diamond figure on each side too. Looks too plain right now to me. -
May 28, 2012Ronar1 posted a message on 12w21b Snapshot Out - Fixes Bugs from 21a; MCX360 Beats Out Black OpsTrading is definitely too op. Just capture a blacksmith and farmer. Make a massive wheat farm which isn't too hard.Posted in: News
Afk at wheat farm and harvest for a few rounds. Go to farmer, sell wheat. Go to smith, buy all the diamond you could ever want.
The purpose of mining has now been defeated. To be honest, they need to jack up the prices of diamond and make it so that like one stack of bread is one emerald. - To post a comment, please login.

But I usually continue my cave run unless the place is infested with monsters and filled with lava.

Another way is to pillar up 3 blocks and stare at them. Then hit their faces. I also like the arch method since its safer from skeles, but problem with that is if creepers come close...

I really want to try this with the nether...

But I think I like living in a snow biome where the only weather is quiet.

But emeralds are renewable so I think diamonds are worth much more depending on how much of the land on the server has already been mined out of diamonds.

You gotta mine for stuff. And not everything should be flat.
Also, there is usually a lot of vegetation...
Easiest way to figure out if legit... Did you get it here: minecraft.net

In my opinion sharpness is better since you can kill creepers faster too.
And if you're on an smp server, its even better because it works better on people

As the guy above said, using stairs creatively will get you really nice looking designs.

Assume both are well built at near max efficiency.
Also, drops don't matter, only the speed it takes to hit level 30.
