I'm a pretty good programmer and I know Java, and there's a Minecraft mod idea I had and was going to try and create, but first I would like to know if the concept is possible to program into Minecraft. (it's a multiplayer-based mod)
The idea is that you can creator your own armor 'textures' with a GUI and use a few colors to draw on them with. The drawing interface would be simple. That isn't the part I'm thinking would be difficult, but the main point is that you create your armor and can save it as an item or something. With said item you'd be able to create clones of that armor. You would apply the armor 'skin' to pieces of armor, and other players in the server would see you wearing that armor, not as, for example, someone wearing leather armor or iron armor, but as someone wearing custom armor.
Would this concept even be possible to program as a Minecraft multiplayer mod? Thanks to anyone with some more experience that replies.
Multiwinia is a cheap, no-blood (theres some pixelated/retro explosions though), funny-ish, moddable RTS game. The explosions are pixelated, it's just stick figures fighting with lasers and grenades... No blood or gore or anything.
I'm indifferent towards games with blood... It's not a big deal to me. I play it if it's fun, whether it has blood / shooting or not is not of concern to me.
People complaining about lag need to either get a new computer or download Java 8.... I'm sick of people complaining about 1.8 causing lag when it's perfectly fine, lol.
I have:
Intel core i5 2500k
AMD Radeon HD 7950
8GB RAM
Plenty of HDD/SSD space
And yet, I get lag, WHILE I CAN PLAY BATTLEFIELD 3 HIGH SETTINGS 60FPS
Your argument is invalid.
