Don't stuff this up.. please.. don't make it live action or people in creeper costumes..
It could open up a ton of new possiblities through, and maybe finally the 'nonexistant plotline' of the game and its orgins etc.
Lego is one thing that doesn't generally have a point or plot, but minecraft? sheesh. Well, Lego Movie did it and it was pretty great, so i assume they'll twist up a random story. fun in-game-play but Unless they magically make it a awesome movie with battles, voice acting, drama/action adventure and not just plain, i'd like that. Not hatin' yo.
There isn't all that much to say about these plans, if they're confirmed or not. I'm excited and interested, but to be honest, this might end up being a total fail. Don't know much about the movie yet of course, animation hopefully.. Althrough i see mojang rolling in cash and getting hollywood rankings or some crap off the fanbase as soon as it's released.

Yeah, to be honest, live action/real people mixed in with minecraft doesn't look all that great IMO. But if they just even make a cinema movie, i guess i'll roll with the punches and watch it anyway because minecraft is cool like that.

I would kinda love it if there was a special kind of trees (uhm, FRUIT TREES) that you could possibly build your own orchard with, but maybe they could be a little harder to find or maybe in a stronghold chest.. or using apples to plant a new tree.. This wouldn't really ruin anything, right? apart from the fact getting food would be super easy. They could bring oranges and others into it aswell and for the people complaining it would ruin the gameplay, they could only drop all their ripe fruit ONCE, then it's just a normal tree with a new type of wood perhaps.
Just my idea. Actually, it is kinda weird that oak trees drop apples but hey, this is a video game about lego blocks. Not realistic.
And besides, we need like way more better updates rather than a update adding apple trees. Would make gold apples really easy to get, and it's not really supposed to be like that. I see your point though. (I'm new at this, sorry if i'm getting off topic)
Get a mod? Well why can't they just improve the game itself? I have so many mods on my computer it's starting to crash and run MC slowly. Some people play without mods you know.
I love useless updates and blocks. You could use them in creative or something too.

Some people only play on a small screen you know. I imagine it would be in the next few updates. Yeah it could be kinda hard looking at how small the control pad is. I agree with everyone, a button would get you into sneaking mode and you just use the arrows to move normally.. then press it again to just walk. Would be kinda hard though like if you were on the run.
