    The most important design aspect of my mod was to make sure that none of Reika's tech trees were short circuited in any way. With a bit of collaboration from both sides, a 'fake' bedrock block that the bedrock breaker with grind into bedrock dust can be added. I wanted to go this route mainly so players aren't being griefed by normal bedrock being unmineable (surrounding a spawn location in bedrock anyone?). Additionally it forces the use of the bedrock breaker which means the tech tree stays intact.


    As for special products, Ex Nihilo "dust" in my mind was something that you could dissolve in water to make a slurry... much like the second stage of the extractor. this would force both the highest speed (stage 3) and power (stage 4) requirements of the extractor, though only half the torque. The trade off is that you're losing the ore multiplier of the first and second stage, which in my mind makes up for the fact that the requirements are marginally easier. But you would get the special outputs this way without any fancy configs for users to tinker with (i.e. outside the modpack).

    I've worked with Reika to work those 3 issues out for my mod, which as you pointed out has been untouched since 1.6.4. However I have been getting requests to update it, so I'll see if I can put aside some time to bring it into the 1.7.10 and possibly beyond when Reika's mods move there. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee a timeframe due to RL work (which is what caused part of the dropoff of the 1.6.4 version). There were plans to add reactorcraft materials to it, except the fusion reactor, due to certain fiddly conditions.

    Yep, new modder mistake. Everyone has to start somewhere. I have removed it (I think) from the code, but I need to completely overhaul the code due to the changes I want to make, and as mentioned in the main post, I have been busy IRL. I have no timeframe for the next release...

    New versions of ReactorCraft (v23+) also allow for heavy water production inside a fission reactor (similar to making tritium), which is an alternative to finding an ocean biome. As these two methods are available, I will most likely not be adding an alternate method for this.

    Updated to version 0.3.1alpha, which adds the Cadmium and Indium (finally, fission!). And I will eventually talk with Jaded about considering this for AgSky.

    Additionally, fusion reactors are basically out-of-bounds because there isn't really a way to get heavy water (which requires an ocean biome) and if i add anything to do it, it'll mostly break the tech tree Reika uses. If I can figure out a way to do it that doesn't hurt his mods, I'll try to add it.

    Erasmus_Crowley, I just wanted to let you know that I've created a very small mod bridge to allow sieving of a few ingredients for some of Reika's mods.     Ex Nihilo - Reika Bridge

    This mod is designed to bridge the gap that exists in Skyblock for obtaining materials needed by Reika's mods (RotaryCraft, ReactorCraft, etc).

    This mod REQUIRES Ex Nihilo v1.26b+. Thread can be found here.

    If RotaryCraft or Reactorcraft is missing from the mods, this mod will simply not load those parts. It should not* crash, however.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Please delete the previous config file created by old versions. I did some retooling of the config file and it'll look like a mess. Not that the new version is much better...

    Current Support:
    -RotaryCraft
    -ReactorCraft (some)

    Feature List:

    -Rotarycraft: Configs for adjusting iron drop rate.
    -Reactorcraft: Configs for adjusting coal drop rate.
    -Rotarycraft: Ability to craft the following from sieveable items: redstone slurry, redstone compound, bedrock.
    -Reactorcraft: Ability to craft the following from sieveable items: Pitchblende, Cadmium, Indium.

    Recipes:
    All recipes are a 2x2 square... I'll add pictures eventually. Redstone to redstone clumps to redstone slurry (for the RC extractor), and bedrock compound to bedrock for placement then use in the bedrock breaker. Also Pitchblende clumps, Cadmium clumps, and Indium clumps to their sand/gravel versions for smelting into ingots.

    Speaking of resources, one thing that Rotarycraft uses fairly extensively is bedrock. Would you consider an extremely rare drop of something (maybe a dust or 'thread' or some other piece) that can eventually be crafted into bedrock itself? Again, it's your decision, I'm just trying to use all these mods in a Skyblock setting. Maybe, for example, a very rare drop that needs 4 or 9 units to craft a single bedrock.

    This and Ex Nihilo are a wonderful idea, and it would be awesome if you could support some of Reika's mods (as mentioned previously). I've been finding that I'm constantly out of Iron since Rotarycraft uses a metric ton of it, and would like to suggest maybe bumping the drop rate a bit if that mod is in use.

    I am, however, getting a crash and I'm not sure if it's due to mod interaction. I have 0.10.5 of your mod and 1.28 of Ex Nihilo. I'm using FTB's Tech World 2 pack.

    If not done already, try having the server owner go into config\Reika\Rotarycraft.cfg and under the "control setup" section, set "Sync Packet Interval in Ticks" to 20. This is how often it sends packet updates, and 20 is the maximum (1 is the default, which is every tick). I had to do this with my server which I host at home, so I have a terrible upload, and even at max it can only handle 2 remote players before it maxes out my upload bandwidth.

    If I recall, you need a tesla coil hitting the electrolyzer with energy to split up the heavy water... but I could be completely wrong. Check the respective handbook (probably reactorcraft) for details
