Hello, my name is Brian and I've been looking to get back into Minecraft once again. I am 18 and i wish to join this server to play with a friendly community and have fun. Like in many other games, my username is Riowind. Minecraft, for me, has always been about exploration and interaction. The more people you can experience this with, the better it becomes!

So I had this idea to start up a world on the ps3. It will be a friendly competitive "raiding" server. Each person online will designate their land with a flag and set up defenses. Now I intend gold to be a currency, and when I say it will be a "raiding" server, I mean that you can only steal the other factions' gold, nothing else. I hope I can get a few people to play with, and of course I will have to set up a few rules to keep things smooth.

The menu pops and when hitting X, or opening a menu is very loud and distracting. Could there be a sound volume slider, or option to turn these on and off?
I've found myself restarting multiple times due to the fact that I can't just play on one world with other people. If we could file host a world so that whenever I, my brother, or any one of my friends wanted to play, they could just load up the world from my save-games and play. This would make my experience so much nicer and would lead to community builds without having to wait for the host to get on and play.
Its in the process of being moved, but sadly the host only allows 64mb upload for each file, which is stupid, our server world is around 200mb. Disaster is uploading it in parts, and said it might be done tonight.
With that being said, there is usually a limit to prevent mass uploads of random things on to their servers. Usually though, if you contact the service providers, they will lift the restrictions for a short time to allow you to upload more at once. Disaster, you should submit a ticket and get someone to either lift the restrictions to your account, or have them do it themselves. Doing it in parts could corrupt the world files, or at best, take a long time :(.

I don't have time to make this mod it's own thread right now, maybe later if it interests me.
Some info about it is in the "Short readme.txt" file.
All you need to remember is the key: Press R to reload all chunks.

Thanks for your time! I've tried installing it, but I had no luck. Is there something special i've got to do for installation, within the "Short Readme" it said it doesnt need to be installed to the .jar and i guess im just a bit confused on how to get it working.
Hello guys, back in the alpha/beta days of Minecraft there used to be a quick key of "F" to change fog distance. Now, I have a slow ass-computer and being able to change the fog distance so easily kept my FPS at a *stable* 15fps.
Sense the change, It has been a pain to reload the chunks with the f3 + a combo, because i have to do it so often in order to maintain a reasonable fps. I would be extremely grateful for someone to release a keybind to the F3+A combo to maybe "C/X" or something close to the wasd keys. Xray mods have helped in the past, but I would rather not see the ores every time I refresh. I would rather keep my world legit.
So it looks like I'll be running the server off of my home machine for now. Riowind helped me get one going until I can situate the whole server hosting deal. Right now the server, is open, and Un-whitelisted, just to test lag and such. Either tommorow afternoon, or tommorow night, the server world will be reset, and it will be the real deal! We tested with 3 people, and no lag at all! SO we'll see how this goes on my achine for now.
