Okay, so what kind of features will this have for maps and resource packs? I can't run the beta client btw, because mac.
I really don't think we need ANOTHER smooth, easy-to-use, trendy-looking modpack installer (from what I've seen, the new technic launcher already does everything that Voice aims to do)... it would be nice to have Voice focus on all types of community content equally, and not just be about MODS MODS MODS.
Any why is it called Voice, of all things?

Version: Alpha 1.0. (first ever release!)
Fracture brings a unique look to Minecraft; Bright, smooth, cartoony, with a hint of realism. Kinda hard to describe! I orginally intended it to have somewhat RPG-like realism look to it, but as I progressed and developed my pixel art abilities, it took on a Sphax PureBDCraft flavor, which I embraced, taking care to make sure the textures still look original and innovative. The majority of the textures are hand-drawn pixel art, while the rest are tweaked, resized, and edited photos that I took myself.
This is a work-in-progress texture pack. Many textures are unfinished, missing, or placeholders for future textures. I'll hopefully be updating it fairly quickly, so visit this post often to check for new updates! A list of current issues to be fixed, as well as all placeholder textures is contained in the download. I'm really aiming to mold and tweak my TP to the liking of the community (you), and I appreciate all kinds of feedback on my work, both positive and negative!
I have big plans for adding mod support to Fracture, as it's been one of my primary goals from the start to make a highly flexible and mod-compatible pack to eliminate having default mod textures shown alongside the texturepack textures (something that I can't stand).
Current mods supported:
Biomes-o-Plenty (WiP)
MCPatcher Mods (Connected Textures, Custom Colors, Random Textures, Random Mobs)
Planned mod support:
XtraBiomesXL
Equivalent Exchange
Thaumcraft?
Divine RPG (my ultimate end goal. Pretty unlikely, but I think I can do it!)
Tekkit Lite! (Probably not gonna happen. )
Additional Credits:
Not really any! I've done all the textures myself thus far (although I would LOVE if someone could draw up or let me use one of their lava or fire animations... animating isn't really my thing)!

It actually never really occured to me to put 'Minecraft' in the title... always kept it out to save space... And advertising is something we've been neglecting a lot. Thanks for the feedback!

(And also, just out of curiosity, which one of us would you say is 'best'?)

That didn't seem to work...

I've properly named all the texture folders, edited things from default enough to tell if the pack is active or not, saved all images as .png's, included a pack.png and pack.text, and left the pack unzipped. What's going on!?
EDIT: I've also tried zipping the pack, removing extra files that I added for mod support, deleting stitched terrian and items.png, playing on the older 1.5 pre-release, downloading a new .jar, playing both online and offline (at different ip adresses), removing and adding pack.png, removing and adding pack.txt, duplicating the entire pack, using MCPatcher, and using the default mojang.png... I'm on Mac OS Snow Leopard 10.6.8 if it helps at all...
