Is there a way to make npcs follow you and/or give you items after you say certain dialogue. Is there also a way to have followers leave once a quest is completed. And finally is there a way to make followers leave you if you enter/leave a specific area? Thanks
The best I got for those questions is:
A dialog option can provoke a command, so you COULD type an item's ID number in the command to have them give you an item. Like "give [player/@p/@a] <Item ID> <amount>" I thiiiiink that's how it goes? You can google it either way.
I've looked for ways to get followers to bugger off after a quest or I enter an area. The best I can offer is that if you teleport away they don't teleport with you and follow you. SO if a quest is done and you teleport somewhere (like a home base etc.) that could maybe work? Again you'd need commands, and this one I'm more confident knowing "tp [player/@p/@a] <x> <y> <z>".

I enter into range (even set the availability to just after a quest completed when getting into range of this conversation) and it will start at any line, even the last. I really need it to start from the first written line, because it can only be heard once. Anyone got any ideas?
Minecraft 1.7.10. Really want to add my own sounds, so I can actually voice the dialog I write (lame I know), but can't even seem to get the KevinMacLeodMusic pack to work. How do I get that working? How do I get my own sounds working!?

EDIT: Just downloaded what I think is the newest version (1.7.10-1.1.2, from near the top of the page) but nope, still all the same attack. Probably a conflict with another mod's code or something, IDK?

Apparently I have the newest version of the mod but in my inventory it says their stats are all the same still. I will just assume I am being deceived by my inventory.
There are posts on page 110 and 111 of this thread regarding the swords and armor. I will be looking into adding customization of them, but there is also a link to the latest version of the mod. The latest version fixes a coding error that I made, which had all of the different swords using the same settings.
So if I update my version of the mod, they will have different stats? Sorry if I'm being dumb, I'm just checking that I understood correctly.

Ah, this is SO sick! I LOVE this mod. I love making textures, and I help out with a few mods but sometimes I just want a couple quickly into my own world, and now I CAN! 2 things though:
1. If I make a texture replacement in say, 32x32, will that not show up in-game or will that work perfectly?
2. Is there a way to customize, say, the power of swords or armor rating of the armors. If not, as amazing as this mod is, that would be my suggestion. If not allowing us to customize it then in a new update perhaps having a bit more variance in the available weapons/armor goodness?
What sort of new weapons will there be? Crossbows, spears or like cool balls that once thrown transform into monsters that fight for you? You could name a fire one Charizard! lol

Alternate question, is there a command I can use that resets all NPCs? So a typed command not using the wand.

Conversations are cool, but sometimes they start halfway through when I get into range. Is there a way to fix that?

Are these swords meant to have right-click abilities? Because when I right-click nothing happens and I thought they did, though I may be wrong...
