I use towny, and unless i give explicit permissions in the groupmanager groups.yml users are unable to build or destroy anything.
So if you have a plugin that prevents building, such as essentials antibuild, towny or some kind of plot system, you may want to look at what permissions may be needed to allow your users to build.
If you want a bit of help I can offer some, but I am fairly busy with life and running my own server, which is still new, shoot me a pm and ill see if i can help.
Names are important, if they weren't then why would large corporations spend billions of dollars in research simply to come up with a name for a product or a new car.
One of my users came up with a great name, KillaCraft (IGN is KillaVolt) however, as it turns out there already is a server by that name.
I am horrible with names, even our own daughter didn't have a name until the second she was born lol.
It's a bukkit survival server, with towny, and factions installed, an economy (of sorts...we're still new) and has PVP enabled, I'm hoping to allow plots if i can find a suitable plugin.
I simply can't think of anything fitting, and it doesn't need to have the word "craft" in it.
I think I have the permissions sorted out now thanks to cody.

A Bank, There needs to be a way for users to earn money by selling blocks.

iConomy, I'm not sure about accounts and stuff but I keep seeing plugins refer to using an account.
As it is right now I've already got the groups setup (Guest, Member, VIP, Moderator, Admin, Owner) but what I am unsure of is what groups should be able to access what.

It's still in it's infancy but "A Survival Server" is online and ready to have some people come and hang out.
It's a basic survival server, with a small shop for buying and selling blocks (more definitely to come), a few interesting places for avid explorers to discover (good luck!) and we use a custom version of the John Smith texture pack.
Current ranks are simply Members and VIPs, and VIP is donation only. but the benefits of VIP are many and always expanding as I add new and interesting features to the server.
Death Control is installed, this means that you no longer lose your hard earned inventory when you die (a cost of 2% of your balance or FREE for VIPs)
Also installed is Refiller, so no more opening your inventory and swapping blocks to your hotbar, this is handled automatically, just keep building and building until your blocks are all gone....then go mine more.
We could use some good builders, so if you think you have what it takes let me know.
I'm hesitant to use 1.5 yet just because it's still a dev build on bukkits end, and I don't quite have all the permissions sorted out just right yet. I want to avoid problems and mostly just get the permissions sorted and my plugins all functional/configured. Then it should be an easy transition to 1.5
Also the server needs a name, and I'm having trouble coming up with anything cool.
Anyway, I would appreciate any users who would like to give it a whirl and help me get permissions problems and other things that "shouldn't be" squared away.
