Seriously though, I'm very much looking forward to Pantheon. A lot of the mapmakers on it, while varying in levels of evilness, trickery and skill, seem fit for the job to create a romhack-esque map. While I doubt that Pantheon is romhack hard and dare I say it might even end up being overhyped, I can't say that I ain't excited for it. Been excited for multiple months now :3

As RedSteven said, while this is an awesome idea I feel like it's way too optimistic. I'd love to see Inferno Mines release mid-late March, which I feel is quite realistic. At the latest, I expect it to be out early May. Later then that and I'll start to get a lil annoyed but oh well. It should be worth the wait!

Sea of Flames was great, Kaizo Caverns was epic, Legendary is my favorite map ever, Spellbound Caves is a runner-up.
Next seems to be the mysterious #13
I'm willing to be that it'll be amazing.
Also, I think I might do a no-placing-blocks run of Waking Up.
Not counting the VM of course.
It'd be crazily difficult but it'd also be extremely fun.
I dunno, maybe I'll do it, I'll report back after Trees of Fun and Grove of Shrooms.

When you drop an enchanted item onto the ground then drop a normal item on the ground they will become a stack of the enchanted items as shown here. .

My way of countering speedrunners is to (If possible) put resources around an area instead of in a chest, tunneling is countered by bedrock/obsidian, bridging is countered by not having any areas where you can just bridge through. Have at least one part (Personally, I'd make it the most difficult) that you can't bridge around.
I think that'd work pretty well.
As for lava buckets, give the player exactly 9 iron and watch them rage when they make a lava bucket and then can't get another ingot, unless they get lucky with zombies.

Super Hostile isn't trying to break new grounds in difficulty, it's trying to make extremely possible yet very difficult maps. ANd that's what it's done.

the 'Spellbound Cavern' is a very tricky first dungeon, the Crystals have a very annoying to get wool (Especially if you get unlucky with skeleton drops), same as the Blackened Library (Unless you get an Ender Pearl).
The University is tricky to start and end due to all of the blazes.
The Rumbling Cavern also has a tricky wool to get.
After that it gets pretty easy though.

Assuming you're doing the first dungeon..
You have to do the first room, grab the resto potion and chestplate, use the resto potion to go down and grab the iron sword, and then you can dig down from the sides of the potion chest straight into the wool room and grab the wool, then get out.
