I have some strange problems with the enviromental colours again!
I wrote in this thread a couple of weeks ago, but i was to busy to reply immidiatly.
So here is my problem:
If i have enviromental colours enabled i get strange biomes like this:
you can see i stand in a huge swamp biom but in the minimap the biome is cut off.
if i disable the enviromental colour it looks like:
so i thinks the probelm is regarding this option.
Now for my comp specs and mc versions
First of all my minimap options:
+Vanilla MC 1.9pre3
+no mods (beside yours^^)
+no texture pack
+no change in your files
+seed is -1281306231892691931 fairly at the spawn point
hopefully you can have alook at my problem yours sincerly

I cannot assert that there is not world corruption at all, but probably there is not the problem.

The class files go in the minecraft.jar
I have been putting the folder called reifnsk in the minecraft jar too.
Inside reifnsk is a folder called minimap with the .png's
Am I doing something wrong?
In Minecraft Beta 1.9 Prerelease 2, Mod of the image (for 1.9pre) does not work.

This seems to have a odd problem with the minimap, in that it shows up as just water, making it difficult to locate oil using the minimap because any water on it could be oil.
The function of the custom color was removed temporarily, but it is implemented again later.

Hey Rei, if you're up to the challenge, could you look into adapting your great minimap to work in CubicChunks? I've been playing around creating a world and am currently building/mining where the average mountain height is around 800 blocks (600 odd above sea) oceans average about 200 blocks depth and below that well I'm not sure as I haven't dug down very far yet. However getting lost amid the mountains is a pain and currently your map and zan's alter classes which CubicChunks does so incompatible...sigh...

It does not support CubicChunks.
However, probably it supports height change MOD after Beta1.9 (it became the official version).

2) It is displayed if push Toggle Zoom(Default:Z-Key) at the large map. (Implemented in Rei's Minimap v1.3)

Sometimes, the biome/temperature/humidity will be completely wrong, mixed with the last world we've visited... =/
1) Using Chunk#getHeightValue, omit the reading of the block. Reduces the amount of calculation if you enable it. However, it is not displayed when there are blocks such as the glass in the sky.
2) biome/temperature/humidity are generate from world seed. Generation rules of the topography are different by a version of Minecraft. Therefore biome may not accord with the topography generated in a different version. If it is a cause unlike it and becomes strange, I want you to upload an image.

Copy and rename files of waypoint. Or, edit the waypoint coordinates input screen.
When you use ModLoader, abj/GuiIngame is not necessary. It only puts a zip file on minimap in .minecraft/mods/ folder.

I just tested this with 1.9 PR-2 and after installing only the mini-map onto a vanilla 1.9p2 the mod just gives an error at the top of the screen that says "ERROR - SMP ADDRESS ACQUISITION FAILURE" I get this message and no mini-map on both SSP and SMP.

When the file of minimap is put into minecraft.jar, does a minimap work? (Not putting into .minecraft/mods/ folder)
If minimap work in this, please check the mod_ReiMinimap of .minecraft/config/ModLoader.cfg

may I ask few questions?
1. after restart minecraft. still lost color?
2. when disable threading function. still lost color occur?
3. lost color is same position every time?
4. please tell me your texture pack and world seed.
5. color lost is intermittent? or persistent?
6. when does it occur? ( at game start? or progress of the time? or any action? )
