    Just to be perfectly sure, exactly where should I put CodeChickenCore-1.7.10-1.0.7.47-universal and NotEnoughItems-1.7.10-1.0.5.120-universal? Also is there anything I need to do such as deleting a file within a mod or something of that sort? Lastly are there any settings I need to change in the minecraft launcher or with forge to make things run a little smoother? I really do appreciate everyone\s help.

    Sorry for another message, I'm wondering what I should do with the 1.7.10 folder within my mods folder? Do the mods go there or somewhere else?


    You already test in another launcher? like MultiMC? if you not know how to use, search for tutorials.

    I think you are allocating more memory than you have because of this:

    You have 8GB of ram alright?
    And this:

    You are putting 9219 to mc but you not have all this (If you have 8GB of ram)

    Yes, but NEI is now a Addon for JEI, so you cant get rid of the JEI.

    The port is in slow progress because need make the mod basically again. The Rendering system is one of steps. You can see some notes of the development from Mineshopper in previous pages. Is hard (Or impossible) to make a release date of the mod.

    Just a straight up crash for version 1.12


    was NEI reacquired as a standalone or is it still a helper file for the JEI mod like for 1.10.2?


    UPDATE: if I disable all the JEI mods (JEI, JEIBees, and JEIIntegration) the game doesn't crash but gives me an error page saying NEI needs JEI to run...


    UPDATE 2: updated the Lib to latest, still crashed

    You are talking about items/blocks are created by unusual way? some mods add yours unusual recipes using API of recipes viewers (JEI, NEI. FEI etc) but if not, another mod add this feature like ThaumCraft not have and severals mod add the support.

    1.8+ not have this features.
    (If you are trying talk with ChickenBones) ChickenBones exit of modding community, covers1624 are maintaining CB Mods.
    Now NEI is a addon for JEI.
    More overlay are one of mods add this features that are removed in 1.8+, i think he is a standalone mod because not have "Required Library" in the downlload page.

    Sadly, 1.8.X have a broken rendering system and this broke several mods, this is a reason why not have too much mods in this version, much modders were forced to skip this version.
