PERFORMANCE WARNING: This map requires a beefy computer with respectable processing power. If this is a problem, try uploading the 1.14+ world to your Minecraft Realm or use StickyPiston to host a MKMC server for free.

MKMC [v1.5.7] for Minecraft Java Edition 1.12.2
This is the definitive version of the map. It's stable (performs best) and has extra content. Highly recommended you go for this one instead of the ones below.

MKMC [v1.6.2] for Minecraft Java Edition 1.14+ (1.15 might work, 1.16 is sketchy)
MKMC [v1.6.1] for Minecraft Java Edition 1.13
These versions were (somewhat haphazardly) ported to later versions of Minecraft. They're less stable and harder on performance. If you want a good MKMC experience on modern Minecraft versions, play Sprint Racer instead.

So yeah, there's our map. It's been in development since early 2013 (with several massive hiatuses) but it's finally done!
Feedback is welcomed! Map can also be found on Planet Minecraft and minecraftmaps.com. This map has been downloaded 100,000 downloads between all three sites!
Also check out Sprint Racer on Java Minecraft Realms! Made by the same people (us) and is basically this exact map - minus copyrighted stuff - plus a bunch of cool new stuff and some major improvements.

When it is fully uploaded my video is gonna be here:

I might try to take part in this, although that was the exact time I was gonna stream Smash Ultimate for the first time. But, since I haven't actually announced that to my subs yet I can delay it for this. I haven't played much Minecraft in a while though, been like 4 months since last time I played, but I think I can do it. I will probably even record it!

Well, I saw you were trying to update the map for 1.13 when I visited Planet Minecraft. That's pretty awesome.
Well I made a little comment on that, and then I thought of a couple bugs you might want to take a look at while/after you're updating the map:
While I was playing through the mirror tracks, I noticed that the jump pad at the end of The Dragon M didn't work. I only played it once, but I figured while/after you're done converting the map you could take a look at that. Also the Rainbow Road M Thwomps didn't work (except the one that goes sideways)
(I was gonna add this to my Planetminecraft post, but I didn't know how often you go there, considering the MCForum post is more active than the planetminecraft post.....

I'm not too far off. I got 26:52:3
Though I messed up on a few tracks like Laeto Forest and Logmill, so I can probably do much better...

Almost forgot to put this here lol

So here is my Wii Grumble Volcano remake.
Video showcase:
Here's a little bit of a challange for you: I hid 3 Diamond ores inside the Volcano: one easy to find one, one that is a little harder to find, and a really hard to find one (None of them can be seen in this video)

So when you buy one single payment of ($25 is it?), then you get one copy of Java edition and one copy of Windows 10 edition. You don't have to pay extra for multiple computers to install Minecraft, but they will all have to be on the same account, meaning that if someone wants to go on a multiplayer server, then only that one person can be on the same server. You might not even be able to access different servers even if one computer isn't connected to it (I've never tried to connect to two servers on two different PCs with one account, so I don't know what happens, but I do know that they can't be on the same server at the same time with a single account)
However, multiple computers can use the same account for local worlds (singleplayer worlds), but they won't be able to connect to each other with LAN for the same reason two people on the same account can't connect to a multiplayer server. If two people in your house want to play together in any way you'll need another account to do so.
With Windows 10 Edition you get a download code you can use on the store in Windows 10 (or something like that) and you can download it into whatever device is logged into the same Microsoft account. I'd assume everything multiplayer-related is the same in Windows 10 edition as it is in Java edition.

Once realms is updated to 1.13, then yes, world generation will be like it is on 1.13, but as of right now, I don't think realms can be used on 1.13. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure since 1.13 hasn't been released yet that'll be the case.

Terracotta blocks are just stained clay renamed. Unless it changes in 1.13, the data tag or whatever it's called is still minecraft:stained_hardened_clay.
And no, Minecraft is not "dying" either. In fact, there are like twice as many active players in the game than there were back when Microsoft bought Mojang, if not more. Now, I would say these forums are starting to die, and I wouldn't be surprise if that has something to do with the unnessasary merge with Twitch (MCForums is literally the only reason I even have a Twitch account, but I do use it to do streams at the same time I use Youtube...).
It is true that many players who bought the game between Alpha and early Release no longer play because they "hate the game now because it's different than when they bought it", But that doesn't change the fact that Minecraft has around 75 million active players.
I got the game a month before 1.8 came out, so things have changed for me too, but I have played the older versions too, and the only reason people like it better is for nostalgia. Minecraft is better than it was when it was officially released in 2011 (I guess you could say it was released in 2009, but that was Alpha...).

Well, everything in the spawn chunk and several chunks surrounding it are always loaded, so you can put your redstone there. (You can also /setworldspawn and everything there will stay loaded)
Now I am not the best with commands and redstone, so this might not be very much help, but I think there is some way to test the time of day, but I'm not sure how. But if you figure that out, you put a comparator next to the command block so that when it activates, it will send out a redstone signal. From there you can have it do whatever you want it to do.
Edit: Hey, I searched for a few minutes, and I found this. The video was posted before 1.9, but I'm sure mostly everything is the same...
