Glass. While I like the bits around the edges, the pixels in the middle are really annoying to try and look through. Same with ice, but that's a bit better because that's the only thing to tell what it is other than it's main color, and it's not meant to be looked through.
Let's say you're making an adventure map where the player must enter the right password to get into a castle. Is it possible to make the guardsmen testificates buy off a book from the player containing the right password in it in exchange for a lever? If you published it under the same username, I'm pretty sure it could work. But would you be able to do that with any player?
I'm not making an adventure map soon, but maybe this information will be useful to others who are.
The hipster part of me wants to say in(f)dev, with the huge and cool customizable options and small community and simplicity. But in reality, at Minecraft's current trend of getting objectively better, the golden age is infinitively off in the future. Please don't complain that I used "objectively" wrong, it's figurative. They're always adding new features that you don't even have to encounter that doesn't change the whole experience unless you want it to, and only removing bugs (for the most part).
I have to ask... What would be the point? Do you just want MORE recognition that Minecraft is literally the most popular computer game in at least America? What would our country gain out of this? Besides, being president is a very stressful job. Minecraft would only raise his nerves, even on peaceful. If you have to create a PETITION to get someone to do something, they're not going to enjoy it. I'd be fine if Obama played a bit if his interests were piqued for a few minutes between paperwork, but not if you're going to force him to do it.
Aww, I missed this guy! Would've been fun entering. Guess that's what I get for forgetting to actually subscribe to rsmalec's youtube. And stalking the maps forum.
This might work better once it processes. Also, I'm probably not actually going to be able to record anything else! I tried on one computer but realized Bandicam doesn't work on Macs and then another computer wasn't showing any windows except for browsers.
Oh well, looks like I'll only ever be able to record flash games.
I've recorded about 15 minutes of footage of just going up to the first challenge and then dying at it a whole bunch. At 3 fps.
Freakin' graphics card. I might be able to record some GOOD footage tomorrow.
Oh maaaaaan I am an amazing person. Homestucks represent. I guess that is the thing to say in this circumstance?
But, most of the other drops were pretty awesome too! I'm pretty amazed how I beat you guys, like that space one and the dragon one, unless one of those are the 1st place guy. There were other awesome ones, I just can't remember them because 45 cauldrons of eye candy and amazingness holy jegus.
Oh snap, who knew? The Dropper Challenge DOES rock! Thanks for telling me, WtF. Though it looks like you accidentally pasted a link into your post? Better fix that.
Where are those 3000 downloads???
What kind of stupid STUPID person downloads schematics to a contest & not follow up?? Why download it in the first place then?
Perhaps they downloaded it, saw the template, and realized their idea wouldn't fit. Another thing is bots. Or maybe people downloaded it to see what to expect? Or to make screenshots/videos of it to raise awareness?
Not too many of these are likely, and I do agree with you.

Anyways, yeah, the terrain before WAS a bit better, but I'll never hate the mountain biomes of today.
