Ah, that mob is set aside for a special themed update, likely Alpha 1.0, when I update the mod to 1.7.2 whenever that might be. Might not necissarily be the next update. I am trying to keep with an update per month, but this next one might be pretty hard.
I recently learned of the AnimationAPI. I am seeing if elements from that can be modified to fit my own mod and fix several bugs and limitations I have not been able to solve on my own. Doing so will require a huge overhaul of my animation coding. c_c'

I am still not sure what a modpack actually is or how it works to answer that.
A modpack is a group of mods compiled together OR a group of mods with download links on the same page. If it is a group of mods, normally it needs some sort of modpack loader, but I'm getting ahead of myself now.
For the update with the Ifrit Houndoom, I think it is a Halloween theme.

Heheh, I think I'll pass. I probably don't know much about Creepy Pasta because I don't have much interest in those things. Contrary to what my mod shows, I am not that into disgusting, scary things.
Oh, thanks for the offer, but I will pass on help for now. I am still ironing out problems in my coding. I still keep finding new methods to add to help with animation. The newest coding style I added for Snow Sorceress Braixen showed me a new way to do animations that are significantly easier if the models are build a certain way in Techne.
Once I made those rules a predictable pattern, I can share those with any people I decide to ask to help.
I'll try and remember to check out that "FamPack" later when I have time.
Aww, thanks. ^^ I would say what I am most after with my mob models is animation. And I try to keep mostly true to Minecraft's simple look and charm. It is a personal rule of mine not to use any model size rescaling. They are built true to size in Techne.

I do hope to do a good job with tamables. The very first mod I ever played was Pokemobs by SeaGoingManatee and I fell in love with being able to fight mobs along side a Pokemon. Not just telling them to fight for you.
But yes, tamables will be normal, definately not corrupt. And I promised myself, the tamables, when the times comes, will have about the best of my best animating skills behind them. But until then, I am not really going to build any models to sit around. I keep learning better and easier way to do things.

I have not thought about doing snakes yet. o.o I would probably have to look into other mob coding like Silverfish. And I think my Demon Lord Ninetales model is a big enough project for whenever I feel like talking that. xD It needs a little editing in Techne to fit a new standard I have. But 100+ part models in Techne are brutally laggy to do. -.-; Took me nine hours over the course of two days to do the original model back in July, just a few days after Demon Vulpix's was first made.

This mod started in January, 2013 like any other Pokémon mod probably does. I wanted to make tamable Pokémon to fight along side the player against other Pokémon and mobs, like they did in Pokemobs by SeaGoingManatee (I had never heard of mods like Pixelmon or Pokecube when I started). But I could not program tamable Pokémon to save my life
I started adding hostile mobs instead, to get practice. Over time, the idea of "killing Pokémon" to get their drop items did not sit well with me. So I made "corrupt" Pokemon.
My own system of a few tamable Pokemon is still an ultimate goal, but I want to wait until I am more confident with entity files and Forge itself. And I need more practice with math animation. c.c'

Soooo, I can just do a command to spawn a npc? I am not new to downloading or making mods, but all this new 1.7 code is confusing.
