posted a message on Seeking modder/modders for a mod of mine.

All I can say is that the mod Will be challenging 8very hard, hence why maybe two people would benefit. I have a pseudo code for it and the images plus custom blockbench model all prepped. I just need to know if someone would be willing to help create it. More details if you pm me. I appreciate your time and opinions. Thank you.

It's a redstone mod, so don't pm me if you don't do well with pistons or custom block creations. I'm willing to do more than you think, I just need you to pm me if you are up for a challenge.

The title of this thread writes a nice big check that sadly I don't feel like your art can cash. :( It's difficult to tell from the tiny little screenshots that you posted, but it seems like every single block has some sort of obvious repeating feature or a pattern. These are new texture artist mistakes that you can, and hopefully will, overcome. For the time being though they are heinous!

The grass is full of zig-zags in exactly the sort of way that grass does not ever do in real life. If it's a style choice, fine. It's still a bad decision. The tall grass, on the other hand, is honestly the best texture that I can see in the entire pack so bravo there.

The stone is mostly just noise that forms into patterns over large areas. Again, a rookie mistake that you should learn to avoid. Same with the dirt and sandstone, though you seem to have averted it with the Netherrack. Granted that might just be the low light playing tricks on my eyes, but it's still an improvement over the other "natural" textures in your pack.

The planks aren't bad at all, and are probably the best synthetic texture in the pack. Even here there's still an issue as there's a repeating line in them that stands out and looks like a repeating texture rather than actual wood.

Straight-up editing the default textures for the chiseled sandstone is just a horrible idea all around. Not only are you stealing from the very source you're claiming to be superior to, you actually made the texture worse by introducing higher contrast noise. The same can be said for some of the storage blocks which bear strong similarities to the default, but are worse. In the case of the emerald block, it's not even in the same style as any of the rest of the pack! Guessing you stole that one from a different source. <_<

There are some good textures here, but for the most part this pack is an utter mess at the moment. I suggest that you drop most of what you've got. Particularly anything that you blatantly stole from the default pack and modified. Work on your tiling and on eliminating patterns on natural blocks. You have the start of something decent, but also the start of something awful. It's up to you to choose which direction this goes.

    I hope that helps you.

I Didn't steal any textures honestly, all made by hand on gimp and if you accusative again that makes you worthy of an report.

So that is a blatant rip and not very nice to accusative. Plus I know who you are and I don't really care for your art or textures due to the same exact thing you are accusing mine of repeating invisible lines that don't actually exist. Second grass is on purpose not sure why you hate it but others love it, so it's a preference thing and keeping it.

Stop telling people to redo a whole thing when they don't have time, do you have time to do all your resourcepacks and make them look good. No, just simply have someone tell them what textures you like and ones you don't like.

Lastly, you always belittle and antagonize people just because you think you are better, which you aren't. I've watched you post so many times I'm starting to think you believe you think you are texture god, you aren't so knock it off on those things k.

Honestly learn to do constructive crtiticism and not flat out rip people to the point of never wanting to do art, because that is all you are doing and quite frankly it's not nice even as a moderator who now shouldn't be a mod because of that.

@Everyone Else: Grass will be changing as soon as it is intended to be animated along with stone to assimilate wind without actually having wind by using 64 frames but I don't think mine craft can handle that many frames. Also lines you might see is because your mind is adjusting to HD textures, not that it's bad it's not what you all are used to.

Also screenshots add in those lines you see, how about you guys take a look in the actual game before judging fully.

Been creating this pack since last year for quite some time. Taking my time, getting it all the details right, and wants, etc.

I've been helped my people on mcabnormals discord, mainly tips and tricks, help and ec. I figured its loong overdue to finally share the art somewhat, in image form, maybe to encourage me to rush it. I dunno.

Credit to blockbench for helping with custom models.

Trees, grass, and etc work without optifine as I used blockbench for custom models. So leaves might look funky in the inventory, but I made them reduced sized and rotated.

Here is images below in spoiler

    lapis lazuli

I'm aware I need to fix my quartz block, it's a bit bright and looks just pure white, lol.

lemme know what you think and have a great day.

Name can be changed, I just aptly named it that after hating the new birch tree texture. -;)

Idk about MC creator, but you’re probably looking at color blending. Which means doing open GL. I doubt you can get the same amount of freedom with layered block texture jsons (since you’d need to make one for every block that can be dyed).

I figured you guys used an external program that did that.
    Quote from TheXFactor117»

Short answer - you can't. Reason: you're using MCreator. If you want to do anything fancy at all, you can't use MCreator - it's as simple as that.

Again not helpful and second explained why I can't use anything else and lastly do you all forget it can be used as a workspace, so I wouldn't even have to say mcreator and could get help? I guess you do and don't think for yourselfs anymore, it's a sad world I guess.

posted a message on trying to make new enchantment glow colors 1.12.2

Now first don't tell to not use mcreator, it's the only thing that'll work on my computer. Its not that I'm not willing to learn, its because decompiling always fails on my laptop unless I eradicate all my profiles, all my minecraft and start all over, than do modding api download it will compile and work, but I don't want to do that. In the new version I can do custom code easily, so please don't say don't use mcreator k.

Now that's over with I'm wanting to create a new enchantment glow, 16 of them. Than instead of applying it visually to the item, I want to apply that colored glow on to a block in game as a transparency of 50% on all the blocks via by dropping said dye on to block, game sees it and attaches the color glow on to the block and removes the dropped dye. This is all I was wanting, so any help would be very much appreciative.

posted a message on Welcome to minecraft 3.0 mod (WIP)

First here is the official project page (currently going to be updated as when I get time)

    Minecraft 3.0

Basically a redstone/survival edition of quark

Anyway, on to projects and images

Thin Panes and Slabs are basically slabs and panes that become thin and still work as intended, just basically make the game feel more fleshed out and useable. You can put redstone dust on the thinnest slab, the regular slab( half a block) and the biggest. Thin panes and thin slabs are pushable via pistons and make things more idealistic and yet minecrafty. Bonus about this is when you right click them with a noteblock, they change to break away versions so when moved by piston or by jumping on them, they break a layer which is useful for slabs.

    Decorative End portals

    called the infinity block

    infinity doors

More images to come and more to see, in mean time, I'll link all of it is in works below though website will have same links and more details about the project which will be biggest project minecraft probably will ever have seen if it pans out like I hope.

    Thin Panes and Thin Slabs

Updating Magnet Pistons again, revising them

Drop Lamp A special redstone item

Advanced Redstone Items the heart of the project

    The minecraft minecraft update(survival mods)

    The infinity block

If you like these ideas or want to help, I have everything there on the website for additional details as of yet I'm looking for more modders and others who would like to work in conjunction with this massive scale project as the one modder now couldn't possibly handle all of this alone. There will be a server upcoming and you will get some perks but it won't be paytowin do to eula and plus I hate paytowin games, just purely cosmetic and you will get insta op from me when server is up and running. I'm currently working as hard as I can in real life to afford all of this and eventually be twitch streaming this mod when it's out.

For inquiries or just to have a place to chat, discuss and be free, come to this discord.

It seems I deleted the nether steel mod, but I don't remember for what reason. And the mod about storing experience was merged into my main mod - Fine Technology.

Ah man, that was a really cool mod IMO. Anyway, how much would you want if I asked you to make a mod for me about 100 new items for the game, plus a 100 new features? I'm browsing around and so far my target price is 1000 dollars / month, not cool. Only reason I'm willing to pay is because no one wants to do these for free anymore and I'm needing this as a one of a kind mod for 1.12.2 and 1.13 and up. if you don't take pay requests, or etc I understand. It's just about the only way to get anywhere nowadays as I can't mod, never took programming lessons and mcreator is sh*tty.
