Why I should be a guard:
I believe that I should be a guard on this particular Prison server for many reasons. This may not be paragraph form, however I hope you can cope without this for I am revising my "essay" into an easier format.
-I have played on Prison servers before.
-I am mature. (Unlike a large portion of people on the internet)
-I speak fluent English, some Spanish, and I am learning Greek.
-I can be on often as I'm looking for somewhere to invest my spare time in (I have alot of time to just mess around)
-I have Skype if someone needs to contact me.
-I have only twice on this server, both of which were out of self-defense.
-I feel the existing guards have no quarrel with me.
-I do not have a bad record on this server.
-I follow orders and will comply.
-I enjoy playing on this server and I would like to further enhance the experience for those who have joined after me.
Do you understand... -> ...Immediate decline?: Yes. I will not nag anyone and I will wait patiently.

By looking at your app, you seem to have been lazy and typed it yourself. Also, that you were to lazy to type the complete app, or find it on the first page, doesn't look promising. I recommend you get more experience before posting, because you have nothing to put there for question 7. I mean, most of the stuff put into that question is completely unnecessary. You didn't even read the guard rules, either! Good luck trying next time.
Guys, I'm going to be on vacation for 2.5 weeks starting today. (Not like it matters since I can't access my account) I'll try to stay connected close to the forums as much as I can on my trip.
To the people arguing about wrongly banned and such..
In certain cases, players will be unbanned for reasons I do not know. For example, Byond was caught x-raying, yet he was unbanned. Unlike Nigz and the rest, they were banned for duping, which in my opinion, is way more serious than x-raying. So, Max, you can't really compare duping to x-raying since the two topics are so one-sided.

I doubt it. Why would they bother to spend money on updates and such just to do something as trivial as hack MC accounts? I've used MineChat since March, my account has not been hacked.

I will be inactive for a few days, maybe a week. I may even have to to retire from guard, and even quit minecraft. Because of the language on Convicted and such, my parents don't want me to play anymore. I will try to convince them, but I can't.make any promises.
Until I know it's hopeless, I'm not going to retire or anything.

You can always have a talk with them. For example, just say, "Mom and Dad, I know you don't want me in a community that uses profane language, but we can make a little deal. If you start seeing any changes in me, that are negative, then take away minecraft, or make me leave the server.
Try using that, but in your own words. Also, just be straight forward with them.

It might not be much of a long time, but I love helping servers to gain respect from others. Especially this server, it is a very fun and unique server that many enjoy.

5) Any experience with the Prison Genre? I’ve played on a few prison servers over the last few months, but I have to admit, MC-Convicted is quite an awesome server. Since I started playing this server, I had stopped playing on other servers as I got less interested in them. I started playing on this server when one Youtuber had one or two episodes of this server. That was when I got interested.

7) Why are you the best choice for guard? My answer might be a bit long, but I decided to keep only the most important parts. Here is an outline of how it will be.

I appreciate the reader for taking time off to review my application to become a guard. Over the few days that I have been on this server, I had to admit it was great. I never thought that a Prison server could be so much fun. The community is kind and very helpful. After a few days of being a prisoner, I wanted to try something different and try my best to become a guard. I read the forum posted about Convicted and saw that only a few people have gotten chosen to become a guard. I thought that my chances would be pretty much nothing if I did not have a good application. I decided to ask some of the guards on the server. Some said that if I had a very good application, the chances of becoming a guard would be 96%. Others say that the chances were not that good. But still, I wanted to try my luck; I had nothing to lose.
I strongly believe that I will be an excellent choice as a guard. Although, I do have a tough competition as I’ve seen many great applications on the main forum. I am a kind and caring person, I’m also very mature and responsible. I’ve had many teachers and friends in school constantly telling me that. I can handle tough situations and problems very effectively and like an adult. I have also never had an argument online with ANYONE. When I’m put in a tough situation, I always look at what’s right and wrong. I would not punish someone without having some sort of proof. I am a helpful person, so if there are any questions, I will try my best to help out. I have a very strong will of becoming a guard on Convicted. And if I do become a guard, I will try my best to become the best guard you would have ever seen.
This paragraph would mostly be about myself and a little information about me. Firstly, my real name is Ankur. I just finished grade 9 and have a whole 2 months to myself. I live in Ontario, Canada, so I am in the Eastern Time Zone. When it comes to in real life, I’m very shy, but when you get to know me, I am a very outgoing person with a great personality. As I’m getting older, I constantly think about my career. I am most likely to become a software engineer or something related to computers as it is one of my strong interests. I used to run a server with my in real life friends and online friends. So I am familiar with how it is like owning and running a server. But I closed down the server later on because of school and other events that came in the way. However, I will be starting a new and improved server in a few months. I am a very dependable person because when someone needs help, I will take my time off to help them.
So this is my last paragraph. All in all, Convicted is a wonderful server with an amazing community. If I really wanted to become a guard, my application had to be formally and professionally written. I really hope that some guards and other members will take the time to read my application and leave some constructive criticism of how I might improve my chances of becoming a guard. All i want to do is play on this server which i have been playing on this server for some time and remember when it was a very small server and through out that time ive been having fun pvping with people.
I also think even if i do not get unbanned which i seem unlikely i think AldronAran needs to get told off for swearing on a ban reason as he does not know who is behind the computer as minecraft is a kids game i dont think he should be swearing in the ban reasons.

Experience with the Prison Genre: Yes, I have playing around on some, but this server is really the only server I have really played seriously on.

Why am I the best choice for Guard:
I am a good choice for Guard because this is the only server I play on, so I tend to spend a lot of time on it. I am a great PvPer, as I have a PvP Arena that I practice on by fighting other people and large numbers of hostile mobs. I would love to help enhance other people's experience on Convicted and help them. I want to be a guard so I can help people from PvPer's so they aren't killed and don't lose their items.
I don't hold grudges and won't seek revenge on other people.
I am trustworthy and can think on my feet. I would always alert a Alpha Guard or Warden if an issue was getting out of hand. I am friendly, I would be kind and welcoming to everybody on the server. I respect all people wouldn't take sides on arguments and would always accept advice from any fellow Guard, Trainee Alpha Guard, or Warden Member.
I don't just want to be guard to have better items and be able to PvP more. I just want to help make other peoples experience on Convicted better. I know all the guard rules and read over them again and again just to make sureI don't forget. I know I am not a very high rank (Rank , but please don't let that hinder my app. I know the approximate jail time, 10 minutes and unfair jail times for PvPer's and Contraband Carriers can and will get me demoted from guard. I am a fast typer so I wouldn't give people time to escape while I'm talking to them.
I know abusing kits will get me demoted and have read over the guard commands. I know the main PvPing techniques (jumping while hitting, blocking with right click, and sprinting to knock them back further. But, the main reason I want to be guard is just to help people and make Viper's amazing server more popular.

I'm mature and I'm not like on of those people that grief. I also don't get a position to use it. I'm playing by the rules of the game. I kill those who are killing, keeping the server more safe and fun. I hate griefers. I have a good sense of humor and work together great with otheres(like other guards) I don't give up either. I've been killed many times innocently without guard help thats why we need another guard
