That's intentional now.

But it would be more epic and engaging to have a fight scene against an evil version of him. That would hold just as much potential, and also allow for a climatic buildup to the actual fight. Also, remember the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words"? They could easily explain how he became evil through a cutscene or something with dialogue over it.
Again, not everything playing will know who he is. Remember, Jesse is supposed to represent the player, and in the actual ep. 6 he doesn't know who the youtubers are. And again, don't you think it would be offensive to the fans for Sky to just randomly be evil? Having it all in 1 cutscene would make it WORSE, since they can only put so much info in there without making it go on for too long AND it would be in your face about it. Plus, would Sky himself want his big debut in mainstream media to be that of evil him? If it was a parody of his character under a different name and constantly poked fun at himself in harmless ways it would be fine, but they won't do that. -

To spice up the story a bit more. Also, it wouldn't be insulting unless there is a backstory as to how they became antagonists. Like if SkydoesMinecraft was in Story Mode as an antagonist, his back story would most likely revolve around being defeated and brainwashed by the Squid Army.
Wouldn't it make more sense to have the normal Sky though? There will always be new players who wouldn't know who he is and don't want constant exposition explaining how this guy they never heard of before turned evil thanks to characters that come right out of nowhere. Plus, it would throw away the much better potential of having the well established main cast interact with him and work with him to save the day. -

That would be insulting to both the fans and the YouTubers themselves. All they do is play a game, why make them evil?

Why shouldn't they be on the cover? They're part of the plot.

Husks and Strays aren't supposed to be "new huge, complex awesome mobs!" they're just supposed to give variety and life to the game. How boring is it to keep seeing the same old boring enemies and NPCs over and over without any changes in a game without story? They've been talking about doing this kind of stuff for ages and are finally getting around to making it a reality.

Since 1.10 is shaping up to be a filler update I bet it won't have a name.

Calling it now, Dan's hair is gonna be a running gag.

Isn't the place made of nothing but Acacia wood now?

I personally really like it so far. Only real problems I have are that Polar Bears should have better drops, Savanna villages should go back to having stone, Husks need a better gimmick and I don't think bone blocks should be craftable, kinda defeats the purpose of fossils if you can just make them whenever you want.

Why isn't this in small suggestions?

We don't have stone stairs and the stone slab is completely different from the original stone block.

Same.

Wow, good idea. Can't believe I didn't think that up. Thanks.

It's supposed to be for builders, and the point isn't infinite blocks, it's placing multiple blocks at the same time. It can also be used for certain traps.

make a hill, boulder, or even just fix a floor? Have no fear, the item
bomb is here!
the above interface. You place a random item inside the item here slot,
and once you right click it with flint and steel, it explodes, but
instead of an actual explosion, it leaves a giant pile of whatever you
placed in the item slot. If you put blocks of Redstone inside the power
slot, it "activates" certain blocks and items. e.x. lava buckets leave a
giant puddle of lava, pistons spawn activated, TNT explodes upon
creation, ect.
giant pile of diamonds or dragon eggs". There's a simple solution: the bomb only drops the amount of blocks placed in it. For example, if you put 5 TNTs in the slot it only creates 5 TNTs. And if there isn't enough room to place everything, it doesn't work.
