I suppose it is a negative p.o.v; that's a fair point. could also be biased because I don't like Endermen at all. I don't ever visit the End because I hate having to constantly monitor where my crosshair is so that I don't enrage the Endermen. Nevertheless, I would much rather see a new, original mob. Like the polar bear, that's such a nice addition. Why couldn't they have been a little more creative in the other mobs?

Husks and Strays aren't supposed to be "new huge, complex awesome mobs!" they're just supposed to give variety and life to the game. How boring is it to keep seeing the same old boring enemies and NPCs over and over without any changes in a game without story? They've been talking about doing this kind of stuff for ages and are finally getting around to making it a reality.

    They do have stone.
It's literally the same village as plains with cobblestone in the same places.
The only difference is the color of the wood, but the structures all spawn the same way.

Isn't the place made of nothing but Acacia wood now?

I personally really like it so far. Only real problems I have are that Polar Bears should have better drops, Savanna villages should go back to having stone, Husks need a better gimmick and I don't think bone blocks should be craftable, kinda defeats the purpose of fossils if you can just make them whenever you want.

posted a message on Giving Nether a twist.

I have some suggestions that could make Nether as cool as End. Some of these suggestions may have sense to some of you or may not have sense to you at all. Anyway here they are :
    Mobs and Item drops :
Blood Bats - These large bats are not as cute as the ones we have in our world. These bats are red in color to blend in in the Nether. These guys spend their time almost every time hanging upside-down on the ceilings of the dimension. These bats are as large as cows and will attack if players are close enough for them to fly away and attack the player. They deal 3 hearts of damage and can be deadly if encountered in groups. Not to mention that they spit green and slimy spit that will cause you to slow down.
Wing Fragments/Bat Wings - Nether Bats have a 60% chance of dropping these upon death. Used for making Potion of Wither that "kills" every block when thrown.
Bloodstones - Stones that are as red as blood. Came from Blood Bats that has a 10% chance of dropping. Extremely rare stones that are formed "inside" the bats. Bloodstones are used for creating the Blood Arrow that when used on mobs and players or aimed on the ground, will attract the Blood bats, therefore distracting them away from the player.
Lavarioths - These lava dwelling monsters are as big as cows but much more longer due to their tail that spans for only 2 blocks wide. They have long and big fins that starts from their head and ends in the part near the beginning of the tail. These creatures are fast in lava but slow as an Iron golem in land. They can spit fireballs and and has normal attacks, they only attack when players are in range. When nearing death, instead of using normal attacks to the player when in close combat, they spit fireballs.
Strong Fin - Dropped by Lavarioths 10% upon death. These fins are used for crafting a Hacksaw.
Mobs were removed and replaced. So please review my suggestion and give your feedback about it.
    Blocks and Other things :

Blood Arrow - Arrows that are made of Bloodstones from Blood Bats. When fired to a player or mob, the stench of the stone stays on the entity for a minute and half where nearby Blood Bats are then attracted by the source of the stench/smell. The arrow emits a red glow and a distinctive smell that somehow attracts the bats.
Hacksaw - A type of weapon that is only made from a Lavarioth's strong fin. The weapon ( but really a tool ) deals 5 hearts of damage. Crafting is the same with sword but usese 2 Strong Fins instead and an Iron bar for the handle.
Amethyst - This mineral is light purple in color and are only found in the Nether. They emit a little glow and when mined turns into gems. They are used for crafting Amethyst Blocks.
Amethyst Blocks - These blocks are light purple in color and somehow glows in the dark. Crafted by filling the crafting table of Amethyst gems.

Soulshrooms - A weird but deadly type of mushroom that are only found in the Nether. Once eaten, the player may experience Nausea and reverse movements for a minute and half. They are used for making Potion of Wither that when thrown into a grassblock, the block will lose its grass and will simply turn into dirt and same goes to the other blocks. In the case of players, they will only experience the effects mention at the first part for 2 and a half minutes.
Nether Cave System :The cave system in Nether are different from the normal ones. The caves have lava streams coming from the Lava pools and then to the center of the cave. The cave has many small entrances all around the surface and then leads to the main cave. The main cave are being guarded by the Nether golems and Nether Bats. The cave is filled with quartz and amethyts as long with Nether warts and Soulshrooms.

Further sketches will be made for the said suggestion when they get enough support/further explanation/look and other things.

I actually really like these ideas (except the hacksaw, I don't really see the point of it). Support!

    Quote from MOREgaming590»

I support both the normal and polished versions having slab and stair types. This should be in the game already if we have stone and cobblestone slabs/stairs.

We don't have stone stairs and the stone slab is completely different from the original stone block.

    Quote from Dheatly23»

Maybe it'll consume only the number of items you put. Like if you put 10 blocks, it'll only put 10 blocks. If there's more blocks than it can place, it'll drop the excess.

Wow, good idea. Can't believe I didn't think that up. Thanks.

First, TNT and hoppers are not hard to get, at all. Second, just because
something is "difficult" to acquire does not balance it being OP, which
this most definitely is. If you want infinite blocks, play in Creative.
    No support.[/b]

It's supposed to be for builders, and the point isn't infinite blocks, it's placing multiple blocks at the same time. It can also be used for certain traps.

Have you ever wanted a quick and easy way to
make a hill, boulder, or even just fix a floor? Have no fear, the item
    bomb is here!

Here's how it works, you right click it with your hand, and up comes
the above interface. You place a random item inside the item here slot,
and once you right click it with flint and steel, it explodes, but
instead of an actual explosion, it leaves a giant pile of whatever you
placed in the item slot. If you put blocks of Redstone inside the power
slot, it "activates" certain blocks and items. e.x. lava buckets leave a
giant puddle of lava, pistons spawn activated, TNT explodes upon
    creation, ect.

I know what you're all thinking, "it's too OP, you can just make a
giant pile of diamonds or dragon eggs". There's a simple solution: the bomb only drops the amount of blocks placed in it. For example, if you put 5 TNTs in the slot it only creates 5 TNTs. And if there isn't enough room to place everything, it doesn't work.
