    Odd. Is this in 1.7.10 or 1.8? I've used the mod for approximately 6 months now, with many other mods that adds entities and had no conflicts whatsoever. That said, almost exclusively in 1.7.10.

    THINK'S LAB MINIONS MOD

    Mobs added


    The Think's Lab Minions Mod is used in my bi-weekly custom mod series and adds 5 new mobs to Minecraft -- 4 different Minion types (two-eyed boy, one-eyed boy, two-eyed girl, and evil purple minions) and a Golden Retriever.


    First and foremost, I want to thank UnstoppableN for creating and maintaining this mod, adding in the custom features that I need and use everyday for my Think's Lab series.


    The mod adds spawn eggs for the 5 mobs shown above, along with a "Noodle Soup" item.

    • You can toggle AI modes (Villager/No AI/Companion/Wolf/Pick Me/Panick) for the minions by right-clicking the Minion mob with a stick.
    • If you right-click them with anything else, they will take it from you and/or exchange it with the item they are currently holding.
    • If they are in Companion/Wolf Mode, right-clicking a minion with an empty hand will make them sit.
    • The one-eye minion will randomly spawn a "Kevin" who carries TNT and sets it off, griefing your world.

    Release Notes:

    v1.12 (15/Jul/2015) - You can now shift-right-click a Minion to get the item back.

    This is brilliant! I'd been using CamStudio for my story-based machinima-style series but finally got around to trying your mod and it's incredible!

    I see that you're trying to correct it so that you can disable the on-screen fire and water overlay again, which would be a welcome addition. I'm wondering if you could also (not sure, just thought it might be up the same alley) make it so that there's a configurable option to hide the chest interface, etc. So you can have your machinima character open a chest and "pretend" to pull something out but not have the overlay on the "camera".

    Also, just want to make sure I'm using it right: The "follow" means that it is a stationary camera that follows you with its eyes only? Or is the camera configurable to move behind you and actually follow you? I can't seem to get the camera to move behind me, so I'm probably doing something wrong if there's an option for that!

    Hi there,

    I have a pretty popular series on Youtube in which I employ minions and we get up to all kinds of crazy adventures with mods and whatnot. Up to this point, I've used retextured villagers and it's worked pretty well but I'd like to extend their functionality to add a little bit to the series.

    Here's my most-recent episode if you'd like to get acquainted:

    I'd like to commission a custom mod that would give me a custom "minion" mob, with a custom model that is quite similar to the re-skinned villager, but with a few differences, mostly arms. Or at least, the ability to have things be displayed in-hand when I use the CustomNPCs mod for the characters. It would be much more immersive and believable to see them holding an item from my perspective. It'd also be nice to have a small arm in first-person-perspective when I am acting as one of the minions via the Morph mod or MorePlayerModels.

    Also, as this would be a commissioned, custom mod, I would own the rights of the mod and also decide whether/when to distribute it to my subscribers.

    Really like this mod for a creative series I do twice a week, it's more reliable (for me) than Morph for what I need to do. Perhaps I've missed it, but if not, I'd like to make a suggestion to be able to change to the 'alternate' versions of models.

    For example, when I switch to a villager, it will only allow me to be (I think) the butcher villager, but I'd like to be able to choose the alternatively-skinned villagers. Is there a way to do that?

    Would love to see an update to 1.7.10 so I can have a working copy on all versions that I use for my mod showcases (1.6.4, 1.7.2, 1.7.10). I'd be willing to donate to the mod author for an update to the new version.

    While I'm at it, I might as well ask whether something is possible (cause I haven't figured out how to do it), or suggest it as a feature:

    I've tried what I think should be a simple camera effect, but can't find a way to do it without setting multiple camera shots/segments.

    Let's say I have P1 & P2, which are 10 blocks apart. I set a path (whether linear or curvilinear) from P1 -> P2 and go for 5 seconds, and it will interpolate fine. But what I want the camera to do is zoom in quickly (from P1->P2) over 3 seconds and the last 2 seconds hold a P2. Or, somehow travel in what would be a parabolic path (I think?) so that it would cover the first-say 8-9 blocks in 3 seconds and then slowly approach P2 during the last 2 seconds. Is this possible currently, other than setting a linear path from P1->P2 for 3 seconds and recording that and then a linear path from P2->P2 for 2 seconds to 'hold' the camera still?

    posted a message on BlockLauncher: an Android app that patches Minecraft PE without reinstall
    Trying the most recent beta on an Amazon Fire TV (not a Kindle, the console). I am able to sideload it and get it running, but there's no way for me to 'click' the wrench because the game controller seems to only cycle between the actual buttons in the Minecraft PE app and not the wrapper.

    Also, when I try to load up any world, it crashes. (Fire TV is currently 0.9.1)

    Playing through this for a let's play on my channel and turned off the "happiness drainer 2000" but nothing happened. Redstone lights up but doesn't do anything. I broke open the whole area behind and above the machine in creative and only found a single Redstone block about 3 blocks above where the redstone wire ends. Where is the prezzie supposed to be? (1.7.2)
