    Could the pump not be like a tool that breaks source blocks in a similar way to axes to wood and pickaxes to stone, sand to shovels, crops to hoes etc pumps break sourceblocks at a distance.

    I like this idea but id like to push the idea further and combine flutes with discs to create flutes with specific mellodys. Combine flutes together to the create longer mellodys or mix up song progression song 1 plus song one gives you double the length of song 1 but song 1 plus song 2 gives you the start of a long mellody hmm could be cool to make a flute song quest as an Easter egg at somepoint aswell song1+song2, song3+4, song5+6 then combine all 3 long mellodys flutes to generate a golden flute to be played at a chunk location for a hidden room to then open up with a unique item in a chest.

    Just as silverfish are a risk when mining and are quiet infrequent i was thinking lava updrafts ( where lava flows up out of the hole temporarily to then retract leaving a void space) could be a new risk in the game why would you want something like this because larger the updraft better the rewards in the new void cave space.


    Think of it like an action movie slant on the current horror slant already in minecraft . the fear around lava would be good both above + below and the screams "oh no, oh no, Lava ruuuuun!" Would be epic on multi player games 😆


    So a little detail on the flow rates


    Basic flow lava rises out of the hole for 4 blocks before retracting down the hole


    Advanced flow lava rises out of the cave 4 blocks plus 1 block for every ore or valuable item in the surface of the cave


    Rare flow for a super cave the lava flows quicker and for a minimum of 20 blocks. 🤔

    After careful rethinking ive come up with a few options regarding ants. 4 types of ants scavenging ants which seek out food items in chest when placed underground they can take the items from the chest or can carry the full chest (as the chest is carried they drop non edible items such as stone blocks wood etc as they travel this would help lead back to the spawn point where the nesting queen ant resides; the nesting queen ant is a stationary boss ant locked into her nest she is high health leveled and high powered and to top it off shes also very angry when interrupted at her nest her defence is to rapidly produced baby ants (low health low damage rate but mighty in large numbers similar to a slimes or magma cubes) the bite from a nesting queen is 2/3rds of the damage from a strike from a diamond sword. The main attack is when she produces a soldier ant (1 in 30 chance) the soldier ant has the same power as the queen but has better movement capability like a spider but unable to produce baby ants. the last of the ant type is the looting ant these take time to grow so are made from grubs these are stage one of the looting ants from grubs(1) to baby ants(2) to adult ants (3); looting ants are similar to scavenging ants but the looting ants aim for jewels to give to their queen (diamonds, emeralds, redstone, gold, iron, and tools made from these materials) both scavenging ants and looting ants have similar power to a zombie in damage and similar health levels to a zombie. Looting ants and scavenging ants only come out of the burrows when hostile at night and are passive during the day. Colours of these mobs vary depending on role scavengers are brown or black looters are white or grey, queens are red or purple grubs are yellow in colour baby ants are similar to adults just smaller in size approximately half size of adult

    Ok its been bugging me that we have to use stairs or ladders to get into mines and we can only extract small amounts of items at a time (an inventory at a time) i was thinking could we put cogs in the game to allow moving platforms would be able to make elevators in a more engineering fashion but on the platform we could attach chests to the platform or we could attach rails which would allow minecarts a platform for running down from a base to a mine and back again. We could implement it into a new update "the engineering update" what ya think? reckon the cogs would give a new mechanic in the game.

    If you use the right techneques and builds you can make all of the current crops grow quickly in all biomes i just want to have a bit of variety in terms of new ways to trade if new crops can bridge from one villager to another imagine the farmer trading with a baker or miller or have a decision to make with two good trades at the same time 64 corn to the farmer gives 4 emeralds plus a sweetner or 64 corn to the miller/baker gives 4 emeralds plus a sweetener

    Imagine trolling the furnaces with corn it would be a serious lol 64 corn into a furnace and when it pops it doubles when you open the furnace 64 goesinto the inventory 64 explodes onto the floor for collection 😆 would make cooking sections (such as multi furnaces 3 or 4 furnaces in the one area )epically funny if left fully loaded with corn

    Would it really matter in terms of coordinated it would just give a .5 on the Y axis which is just a slightly larger way of counting on the Y axis 1,1.5,2,2.5,3,3.5 etc say it's a solid wood block it burns at the moment say it's a oak slab and birch slab it would still burn say it's an oak slab and cobblestone slab it would burn the wood and the cobble would remain say it was a wood slab on base a sand block on top and a wood slab on top and the top was torched the sand would protect the bottom slab say the fire started underneath the bottom slab would burn the sand block would drop and any flame on the ground would be extinguished under the sand so really all I'm asking is is for a .5 block height to be added to the Y axis rather than a solid block number

    Sorry I was pretty tired and my brain was joining dots with what they have done with current mobs and new environments. In real world the large caves are a natural environment for ants. the new mobs are natural predators to ants when they are young (seen few wild life docs on it) and when they become adults they focus on fish and other larger food sources. The direction of environment and current mobs could see new hostile or passive hostile mobs in the form of ants implemented to the game esp if based on the spider mechanical movements combine this with a precession of mobs at certain times of day it could become crazy mob hoards esp if an ant is accidentally killed and the troops retaliate in mass numbers like army ants

    Id like it if they updated the trees along with more resources to enable better tree growths for example mining a salt block to combine with water to create a salt water block to grow with palm trees to produce coconuts etc coconuts could be a solid out of block similar to melon which breaks into small coconuts it would be good to utilise the floating aspect of water and allow coconuts to wash up on shores depending on where they float to palm leaf could be crafted in to another source of fuel similar to kelp of charcoal or mined with sheers and used as a decorative block id also like it if they could vary the colours of trees not just in biomes but minable with sheers to capture red, yellow and brown leaf im sure there is mods already doing this but if the implemented it in the main game it would expand the building of trees I'm a big way if new trees aren't feesable

    It would be good if they could combine the snow idea with sticking half slabs together if snow can form on a half slab it could open up detailing on all half slab blocks half cobble/half sandstone, half cobble/half stone brick etc
