Really good update - except for a couple of things. Smooth lighting makes my device (ipod4) lag a bit, and it also makes everything dark. Please add an option to turn it off. Also, chests, signs, and possibly other things appear really dark on certain sides. Fence gates sometimes look really weird with smooth lighting.

A few suggestions for future updates: something like a nether reactor could be added, but it would be used to create caves and long grass on previously created worlds, throughout the whole world, in 0.9.0. Lava and fire in nether reactors could be added , torches could light your way when you hold them, and red stone ore, diamond ore, and lapis ore should be craftable from
[1 redstone dust/1 diamond/10 lapis] + [1 stone (not cobblestone)]. Also if you add golems, add different golems to those on the computer. For example - clay golems (iron golem replacement) and TNT golems (snow golem replacement) which could run towards whatever you hit then blow up, without destroying any blocks. You should also be able to make them sit if you don't want them to attack anything. On both PC and PE, redstone repeaters could be stackable, a bit like snow.

For 0.9.0, I would like to be able to create nether portals in creative, formation still the same as in pc, right?

I have been getting this bug ALOT.

Mostly, to get rid of that bug, remove all of the blocks(replace them with items) in your hotbar except the one you want to place. I think the bug was created because of the new hotbar system. to get rid of the item bug, do the same thing.

    Ahh, 0.8.0...
I tested the build 6 version, and you could tell by the previous comments that this one here has a BIG collection of bugs...
Most of the bugs are on multiplayer but there's still a reasonable number on single player.

These are most of the bugs that you would encounter:
    • Block placed turns into another block(ex: Lava placed becomes TNT, crafting table becomes sapling)
    • "Infinite" Tools(includes Bone Meal) [Ex: you have 3 bone meal but can use them a lot of times]
    • Item becomes another item [Ex: Coal becomes bone meal]
    • Placed dirt can't be seen by other players, and sometimes be gone once world is reloaded{Multiplayer} (somehow funny to see players inside dirt, or on another POV, see players floating on their dirt which you can't see)
    • Blocks placed get lost{Multiplayer}
    • Merged minecarts sometimes stop and glitch on turned rails
    • Merged minecarts go reverse without any block stopping them

Some of the bugs may merge into another, like in my local multiplayer world, I had the "Item becomes another item" bug with the "Infintie" Tools bug[ basically my coal acts like bone meal, but with infinite use]

Somehow, thanks to more stuff we have more bugs. but don't temper about it [bad English alert]. Pocked Edition is still in alpha stage, which why this TON of bugs, their number is still reasonable.

posted a message on Help: Where do I find my downloaded minecraft from 4shared and put it as an app? Also, I'm using apple
    Quote from corbin052198

One of the limitations Apple has put on iOS (and the main reason I have switched to Android) is that you can only get apps from the Apple App Store. APKs are Android application files, and do not do anything on iOS. It's like trying to install a Mac application on Windows. It doesn't do anything.

Oh, so that's why... that's bad news for my cousin then...
    Thanks anyway!

    Quote from x86cam

You should get it legally from the App Store. I know $6.99 may seem like a lot, but it's worth it. Trust me on this.

Well, technically yes. But my cousin couldn't afford it even if he wanted too, his family doesn't like wasting money on little things

    Uh, yeah... that's my problem.
I know that you can download minecraft from 4shared because I already did it, more than twice in fact.
Well, my cousin wants to have a minecraft too, but my problem was: HE USES an iPad mini.
when I downloaded minecraft I was using my samsung which uses android. Coz' it's the one pretty close to PC instead of Apple.

So I already downloaded the .apk file for the ipad mini, but my problem was how I am gonna put that file on the home screen as an application?

Holy Notch, if Sethbling saw this he'd flip out.

    Much better than Disco's Calculator.

My Opinion to your brother: Share it. Just do it. And let the whole world know how genius you are.

To make make ready levers or buttons (would have to make an auto reseting t flip flop if your using buttons) just hook them all up to an AND gate. What are you using to make the creepers, spawn eggs or spawners?

As far as i know there is no command block /testfor inventory item id, which could make testing for 50 gunpowder quite difficult. It may be possible to use the /clear item id hooked up to a comparator which would give off a signal each time you get 1 gunpowder, then make a counter or something... Alternatively you could use scoring for each creeper kill, or even have hoppers for each player to throw the gunpowder in.

To toggle the difficulty from normal to peaceful is fairly simple tho. Just power a command block with "/difficulty peaceful" then power one with "/difficulty normal"

I'm using spawn eggs. Thanks for giving me the idea of using 1 kill per 1 gunpowder. I try to use the redstone from sethbling's UHC Box.

Hey Guys, I need help with command blocks, I'm recreating a small mini-game of Hungry Hippos, with Creepers to be killed.

So almost there is done, except two things:
    1. I need to make it so that when the four players flick the switch to be ready, It starts and start releasing the starting creepers. and they can donate creepers to "gamble"
    2. When a player has 50 gunpowder(or more) The game stops announcing the winner, and setting the difficulty to peaceful and then normal.(basically reset the game)

If you have any ideas tell me.

    What?!

Look into the upper right section of the picture, theres again grum, and a villager is on top...

And that's how it makes sense, i want to know what the villagers sound like; but then again I don't think they installed the "Play offline" feature yet on the new launcher.

    X. The multitask man

These people have the attention span the size less than that of a walnut and are set to have skype, steam, twitter, facebook, and instagram accounts and chats running at the same time. They are deadset on social media as top priority and not gaming. As a result, they are afk for long periods of time and make one movement per minute. Wow.

    X. A. The game swapper

Bioshock infinite? Nah, time for sc2! After 15 minutes, then its a good time to play call of duty!

They never spend more than a few minutes in a game and if they do, it's a special event. They believe that they need to play a few minutes of a game in order to get in depth with it. In reality, that is not the case. They can't grasp the storyline of games and they sure as good can't master the gameplay. Learn to play some more on fewer games.

Tell me just how, how do you get all these ideas?
