What you can do for the server: To be completely honest: I am not very good at building, but I do enjoy doing things like mining and gathering resources, so if there is ever a need for building resources or ores, then I will gladly step up to the job.

Experience: So I've had Minecraft on my laptop for about two years now, but haven't really played survival at all (I usually just play minigames at servers and stuff like that.) However, a couple months before I played survival mode on Minecraft Pocket Edition and basically learned everything there was to do in that (though it was pretty limited at that time.) So I know all the basics to survival, but now I want to learn more about things that weren't available in Pocket Edition and how to build cool stuff using redstone.
Strengths: I guess I'm pretty new, so I enjoy building houses and mining.
Why do you want to join? I want to join because this seems like a server that will have active players and is really community-based, which is what I have been looking for. I want a place where people are mature and serious.
